When installing, do the labels go up or down? Do they have to be spined

Asked by: RG104
You can install the shafts either label up or down, which ever is your preference. If you have the shafts Pured or spine aligned you would then install the shafts by the alignment marks identified by these processes and the labels could end up in different position with each shaft. Here is a link where you can read about Puring and see a video on how it is done. http://sstpure.com/

The Aerotech Steel Fiber .355" taper tip iron shafts are sold in sets of 3 - PW only. To get a set in 4-PW you would have to place a special order through our Customer Service department. You can contact them at 1-800-848-8358 and they would be able to give you the pricing. We do stock individual wedge shafts (AT0017IW) and their cost is $48.99 each. We do have sets of 110 S flex 3-PW in stock as well as the individual wedge shafts.

I am a 4.0 Index, but my MP-64 irons w/ KBSTour 120 (S-Flex), D2, have lost 10 yds in past 4-5 yrs. Which Aerotech Steel Fiber shaft would be best: 95 or 110 g, S-Flex std or soft stepped, or maybe R-Flex, tip-stiff? Thanks.

Asked by: Blaine
Generally, if distance is the main concern, you want to go as light as you can and still maintain a level of feel you are comfortable with. More flex could also help, but you want to play the flex that provides you the trajectory control and feel you want. Flex will have less affect on distance than the weight. Dropping from 120 gram to 95 should be noticeable. Of course, with any change, you really can not know until you try. It might be worth trying both the 95 and the 110 and compare against your current set up.
