Rated 5 out of 5 by from steel fiber i 80 I ASSEMBLED A SET OF IRONS FOR A CUSTOMER USING THE i 95 STIFF. MY CUSTOMERS SAYS THEY ARE THE BEST SHAFTS HE HAS EVER HAD IN A SET OF IRONS. I ASSEMBLED A SET OF IRONS FOR MYSELF USING THE i 80 R FLEX. I AGREE WITH MY CUSTOMER THE BEST SHAFTS I HAVE EVER HAD IN A SET OF IRONS. I RECOMMEND THESE SHAFTS TO MY FRIENDS AND ANYONE WANTING A GREAT QUALITY SHAFT AT A REASONABLE PRICE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft with interesting features I liked the taper tip version in other clubs so I bought this shaft to try in a set of single length irons to reduce total weight, increase club speed, add a bit of kick and increase swingweight. Balance point is relatively closer to tip in these shafts so swingweight ended up a bit too high with my normal 50gm grip. After "counterbalancing" with a 64gm grip, all of my objectives were achieved . Club feels just the way I wanted, distance is significantly increased. Dispersion excellent. Superb shaft, will do the whole set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I80 & I95 Aerotech shafts 12HC* I bought these after I had hit them in my father in-laws clubs. Im never been a guy who believes equipment adds or detracts that much from aersons game, but rather talent, swing plane and fundamentals make up the majority of one game. These shafts have slightly made me re-think about that. Since added these shafts to my XR irons (played at 2 degrees flat) I kid you not I am a club to a club and a half longer and much more accurate!! Its almost unbelievable... Pricey but my god what diffrence they have made!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great control and distance I have used these shafts with the MXU utility heads, and they give excellent accuracy and distance. I have also used the Steelfiber shafts in some irons, and my customers really like the control and distance, along with outsanding feel. Overall, it is a fine shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i95's We installed the stiff i95's in the VEGA VM-02 raw iron heads(D4)and put the i110's in the wedges. We also built a set for my father(8 handicap) with regular i95's and the VEGA VC-03 heads(D4). The shaft/head combo has an incredible look and feel. Shaft is very stable despite the intitial overall light feel and the traj is perfect. I would recommended these shafts to players of all levels and swing speeds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect shaft? This shaft is amazing. I have reshafted some Mizunos to produce a lighter total weight but increased swingweight. they feel great and I was able to add about 5 mtrs distance on mid and onger irons with no noticeable loss of control or accuracy. All the advantages of graphite without any downsides. I highly recommend them they are a real quantum leap forward in technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moe I played these shafts for the first time in a set of mizuno-m62 irons. One word "outstanding". I has been playing project x rifle 6.0 120 grams... what a difference in clubhead speed, distance, accuracy, and feel. Thinking about reshafting my calloway forged-x irons with the 95 gram shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great move I've been playing the Aerotech 80 shaft for a month (previous shaft was the Rifle 5.0). Tested them on Pine Valley and Merion two weeks ago. Great feel; very stable. Works for all shots. Highly recommended.

Do you have senior shaft for ping iron?

Asked by: Minitman
We have the Aerotech SteelFiber 70CW (AT0020I) in an A (Senior) flex and the Paderson Kinetixx TS-I Trajectory Series (PK0105) in A (Senior) flex. These are the only two .355" taper tip senior flex iron shafts that we offer. http://www.golfworks.com/aerotech-steelfiber-70-cw-graphite-iron-shafts-355/p/AT0020IE/ http://www.golfworks.com/paderson-kinetixx-ts-i-355-graphite-iron-shafts/p/PK0105/

Want to retrofit a TE Forged 6iron with Fibersteel i80 shaft.  The current shaft is FST Pro115 (s/x), tipped 5" from raw length.  Playing length is 38.25".  Since FST plays soft was hoping you could recommend a tip trim estimate to achieve flex equal?

Asked by: DrRon
Tipping 5" from the 115 S/X is basically the X flex tip trimming recommendation (5 1/8" recommended). If you use the Steelfiber S flex you will probably match up fairly well. Altering the tip trimming with the SteelFiber shafts is not really an option because they only have a 5.5" parallel tip section. We would recommend that you do not trip trim more then 4" which allows 1.5" for proper installation. The SteelFiber shafts can test a little more flexible then normal but do not play that way. It is the effect of the steelfiber used in the shaft.

Hi...I have a nike VRS 2 hybrid and Callaway XHot 3,4, and 5 hybrids. I believe they are all .370...will this Aerotech shaft be suitable for all 4, and which would be better the 95S or 110S? thanks

Asked by: halifaxhugh
Yes the X Hot hybrids are a .370" tip diameter. Both the 95 and 110 S flex could match well. It comes down to which weight works best for you. I would consider the weight of the shafts in your irons. Generally if the iron shafts are steel and the hybrid shafts are graphite the hybrid shafts will be lighter weight then the iron shafts.

What do you think the swing weight would be on a set of Maltby ke4 tour + irons and steelfiber i110 .370 tips. Using a 46.5g grip

Asked by: CTC
At our standard length for a 5 iron (38.25") the swingweight with this shaft and grip should come up in the D2 swingweight range. The KE4 Tour irons come with a 6 gram weight installed and can be changed to as light as 2 grams or as heavy as 14 grams.

I have aerotech steelfiber 110 shafts in my ping g irons. I'm looking to do the same for my ping crossover 3 and 4 irons. Will the 110's work in them, or do i need something else. FYI, crossovers have a D0 swing weight.

Asked by: richard waggle
The Steelfiber 110 shafts will work fine with the Ping Crossovers. You would use the 3 and 4 iron shafts.
