I have a cobra 20* baffled that has an aldila NV-HL 65 shaft in stiff. I want to change that out to regular shaft. Can u direct me to the nearest comparable shaft? Thanks

Asked by: Nicnack
AT 20 degrees I am assuming this is an older Cobra Baffler Hybrid? If that is the case it uses a .335" tip diameter hybrid shaft, which is not a common size hybrid shaft these days. The only .335" tip diameter hybrid shaft we stock is the UST ProForce V2 Hybrid (US0013H) and it should be fairly comparable to the NV-HL shaft the Aldila made for Cobra. http://www.golfworks.com/ust-mamiya-proforce-v2-graphite-hybrid-shaft/p/US0013H/

Looking for a replacement shaft for a Cobra S9 7 iron. The broken graphite shaft is an Aldila NV HL70 (regular flex - mid kick - 70g - 3.5*). What current Aldila shaft would be a good replacement.

Asked by: Hoppy
The Cobra S9 irons require a .355" tip diameter. The original shafts in those irons were probably a "made for Cobra" series and not available to the aftermarket. I don't know of any Aldila shafts currently available that would be a good match. The SteelFiber 70 is about as close as you will get in a graphite shaft option. http://www.golfworks.com/aerotech-steelfiber-70-cw-graphite-iron-shafts-355/p/AT0020IE/

Does this shaft fit Cleveland 588 Gliderail hybrids? If no, which R flex shafts that you sell do?

Asked by: bdskinner
The 588 Gliderail hybrid has a .370 hosel bore, so the Aldila NV 85 Hybrid .370 will work.

I need the NV 85 hybrid shaft in a .355 tip in a stiff shaft

Asked by: GreenTed
We do not stock the NV 85 Hybrid shaft in a .355" taper tip. Aldila does show it on their web site so we should be able to special order one for you. You will need to contact Customer Service at 1-800-848-8358 or by email at golfworks@golfworks.com

I bought a used hybrid with an SNV8 Hybrid shaft.  Can you give me the specs on this shaft?

Asked by: RoDM
That should be the Aldila NV Hybrid mid 80 gram weight shaft. You can see the spec's at this link. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=AL205201

do you have aldila nv hybrid 350 in an X

Asked by: nick r
We only carry the NV 85 hybrid in the .370 tip. It is available through special order in a .355, but not a .350, based on their website. You can call our customer service department and we could special order the .355 tip, but again, no .350 tip is available according to the Aldila website.

What is the trimming instructions for 4 Hybrid on the NV 85S Aldila shaft?

Asked by: Don Walker
The NV 85S does not require tip trimming. It is a "butt trim" only shaft. The trim code is IR1. http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/2010_shaft_trim_inst.pdf

I have 3 hybrids that are equipped with .335 tip shafts that I would like to reshaft with Aldila NV 65's or 75's shafts but notice that all , or nearly all, hybrid shafts now are.370 tip. Is there any reason or is ther any problem using .335 tips shafts?

Asked by: Nicky
The UST V2 Hybrid is still available in R and S flexes in the .335 tip (US0013H), but those are about the only hybrid specific shafts that still are. You can use .335 shafts, as long as you have enough tip section to be able to trim them for flex for the heavier headweights of hybrids. There are a few "fairway wood" specific shafts in .335 that could be used, but again, you have to be able to adjust the tip trimming for the head weights and length of the hybrids.
