Aldila NV Graphite Wood Shaft

The Aldila NV graphite wood shaft provides the player with very uniform feel and consistent performance due to its constant taper wall thickness design.

  • .335" and .350" tip diameters available
  • Constant taper design to eliminate "dead spots" or inconsistent flex zones
  • Unmatched consistency throughout the NV line, regardless the shaft weight
  • Available in 55, 65, 75 or 85 Series

Trimming Instructions

Aldila NV Graphite Wood Shaft is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smoooooth!!! This is one smooth shaft. I purchased the 65X .335 for my Supertri a while back as the stock shaft felt like a wet noodle. I have a high swing speed coupled with a quick transition which really loads this shaft up well. It's just so responsive, that I can feel the clubheads presence throughout the swing. Nice medium to low launch and the ball just soars on a smooth arc with excellent roll out. I have since pulled the tour issue Project X out my Titleist 910D3 are re-tipped this shaft to fit. With all of the new models (shafts) that have been released, it's easy to see why Aldila hasn't discontinued this classic! Definitely one of the "best bang for your buck" shafts on the market!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft I bought the Aldila NV green shaft to go in my R-15 driver. I had the shaft pured, trimmed and a new adaptor and taylormade grip installed. I have this shaft in a 7 wood and 9 wood and it's just right for me. I firmly believe in puring (spine align) the shaft. I got the new shaft, put it right in my R-15 and it hits great, also about 15 yards further. I will also get it for my R-15 3 wood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consistent feel and results! I have been searching for a decent shaft for my TM M1. This shaft is perfect. Sacrificed some distance but gained complete control. I can shape a variety of shots and haven't been in trouble with this shaft.

what does the 4b1m mean on shaft description

Asked by: Don
4 is for the Shaft flex, 4 is an S flex. B is for a shaft that will give you a balance of distance and control. Shafts in this category are sorted by weight. D is the lightest weight graphite and steel shafts. C is for the heaviest steel and graphite shafts. 1 is for a low trajectory shaft design. 2 is for mid trajectory and 3 is for high trajectory. M is for a shaft that is not needed to correct a hook or slice. S is for shafts to help correct a slice and H is for shaft to help correct a hook. At this link you can answer the questions to create your 4 digit code and click on Get Your MPF and it will bring up the shafts in that code. http://www.golfworks.com/mpf-shaft-fitting-worksheet/a/496/

I would like to know the difference between nv 55 reg flex and a nv 60 reg flex j spec.  The question is what is a j spec.?

Asked by: Birdie Chip
I have no idea what is meant by j spec. The main difference between the NV 55 and NV65 is the weight. The NV 55 R flex weights 56 grams and the NV 65 R flex weights 67 grams. The NV 55 has a slightly higher torque at 3.9 compared to the 65 at 3.5. There playing characteristics are very similar. You can see all the specifications at this link and scrolling down the page to the specification box. http://www.golfworks.com/aldila-nv-graphite-wood-shaft/p/1205W/

I am a little confused about just what shafts you are trying to compare. Can you be a little more specific with the shaft names of what you are looking for?

I need an Aldila NV65 shaft (Stiff flex) for my Taylormade M1 driver. Can Golfworks install the adaptor and a grip so all I have to do is remove the old shaft and put in the new one? If yes, how do I go about ordering one?

Asked by: VirtualAshok
Yes we can do this for you. It might be easiest to just call customer service at 1-800-848-8358 and have them help you with this order. If you order on line you will need to order the shaft, shaft adapter and grip. At checkout in the special notes box tell use you would like this assembled. Tell us what length you will what length you want the M1 driver to be, what setting in the adapter you want the shaft set to and any special instructions for the grip or grip size.
