I have an original set of Tommy Armour 845s Irons and was wondering if these shafts would 'fit' the hosel?

Asked by: Mike
The Aldila Value Series shafts will not fit the original Tommy Aromour 845s irons. Those irons used a .355" taper tip and the Rogue Pro shafts are only available in a .370" parallel tip. Which is to big to fit.

I was gifted a set of irons. Would these work with a set of Taylormade Superlaunch?  My swing speed in the low 90's.  High handicap.  Thinking about re fitting.

Asked by: Moneybags
If the irons are the Burner SuperLaunch irons yes the Aldila Value Series shafts will fit and could work well.

On the phone I was told to buy CXIAL senior flex graphite shafts, color black / gold. I cannot find this on your website

Asked by: steve
The code is VXIAL and here is the link. You would use the L/A flex and follow the trimming instructions (IR12) for the A flex. You will find the trimming instructions at this link.

If you have a Dick's Sporting Goods or Golf Galaxy I am told that they stock the Black version of the VXIAL Aldila Value Series shaft.

I'm wanting to replace the True Temper DG shafts in my CG4 irons with a senior flex shaft. Is this a good option? Recommendations?

Asked by: DickT
The Aldila Value Series is a very good inexpensive graphite shaft and will work with the CG4 irons as long as the shaft specifications fit your needs.

I'm looking for a replacement shaft, regular flex graphite to put in a Taylormade RSI 1 3 iron.  Could you recommend which Aldila would be a best match.  Currently playing to a 6 handicap with a swing speed around 85 to 90.

Asked by: Polloa
The Value Series (VXIB), AldaLite (AL0062) or Rogue (AL0054) could all work as a replacement for the stock RSi graphite shaft.

Which graphite shaft (senior flex) would work best for Ping G25 irons?  Currently shafted in steel regular - too stiff.

Asked by: DaveK3407
The Ping G25 irons take a .355 taper tip shaft, so be sure whatever shaft you choose you get the .355 tip. Also, you should consider what weight graphite might be best. If the steel shaft you have been playing is standard weight, you may want to consider a graphite that is no too light so the the feel is not so dramatically different. For instance, if the steel shafts you have been playing are 120 grams, you might want to consider graphite that is 95 grams instead of 75 grams, just so the change is not so dramatic. SteelFiber makes a great product in multiple weight options in .355 and is a great transition shaft for those going from steel to graphite for the first time.

Do shatfcome in senior flex

Asked by: Sully
The VXIAL is the combination flex shaft for the Senior Flex. The A indicates Senior flex with this shaft. You would follow iron trim code IR12 for the A (Senior Flex).
