Xcaliber Shaft Specifications

AXE XCaliber Tour SL Graphite Hybrid Wood Shaft is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stability you can count on! I installed this in a k4 hybrid to complete the set of two. Incomparable control with the stable tip sections. I want a hybrid that will pinpoint accuracy for the difficult par threes. These fit the bill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shaft! I had been using A Cleveland XL270 Driver with their "stiff" shaft, so when I replaced the Cleveland with a new Cobra Driver, I ordered the Stiff shaft. Big Mistake....couldn't hit the new Driver for beans!!! Did a little research, purchased this XCaliber Tour SL shaft in Regular flex, installed it in the Cobra Driver, and BINGO....250 yard mostly straight drives....at age 70. I couldn't be happier!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shaft In my personal testing this shaft felt very solid at impact but I witnessed NO DISTANCE GAIN. Remember, super lite shafts aren't for everyone so get fitted by a professional club fitter and if it's determined a super lite shaft is what you need then this shaft should work very well for you..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AXE Xcaliber Tour SL Hybrid Shaft I am not using the shaft. I made the club for someone else. So far no gripes.

I have a Taylormade R11 3 wood with a adjustable head. I'm looking at the Sr. shaft which is 41", can I get this in a 40"? Also what will I need for the adustments ?

Asked by: Jim43
For your Taylor Made 3 wood you would need a wood shaft not a hybrid shaft. The hybrid shaft will not fit the fairway wood. You could use the Xcaliber Tour SL Fairway (AS0029) wood shaft in your R11 #3 wood cut to the finished length you would like. The Taylor Made R11 driver used a .350" tip diameter shaft so you would also need to purchase the TM0016 Taylor Made shaft adapter for the .335" tip diameter Xcaliber Wood shaft so that the shaft will properly fit. http://www.golfworks.com/taylormade-r11-s-r11-and-r9-shaft-adaptor-sleeve/p/TM0016/

I'M LOOKING TO PUT A CALIBER SL WITH A L FLEX IN MY DRIVER. IS THIS A GOOD MOVE?

Asked by: JIM43
The Xcaliber Tour SL wood shaft (AS0026) has been a very good shaft for us. As long as it's specificatons fit your needs it could work well for you.
