Fujikura Fuel Graphite Wood Shafts

Just like a high performance engine that burns high-octane fuel for more horsepower and torque, your shaft can perform the same way using advanced technology as its fuel. With FUEL, you can see where your energy is coming from through our proprietary FUEL ROD TECHNOLOGY, created with a COMBUSTION CHAMBER and LOAD INJECTOR TIP. FUEL uniquely utilizes this technology to generate greater distance and accuracy on a more consistent basis. Fuel Shafts sold as install only. Install includes custom assembled, reshaft or OEM adaptor install (adaptor install free of charge).

  • Install only golf shaft: Free Installation! Includes: reshafting fee (Free), custom assembly (Free) and any in stock OEM adaptor (Free).

Fujikura Fuel Shaft Specifications

Fujikura Fuel Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade Bought an R15 on sale with a regular shaft knowing I was going to put a stiff in it when it came. Looked into the options and decided to give this one a try. The 50 series was all that was offered, and I originally thought it would be a little lite compared to what I normally play. Not at all, it paired really well with the head and swing weight feels very comfortable. If I put a good pass on the ball, I get the desired result. Very happy with the decision to go with this shaft for this club. Finally got a shaft that seems not destined to be a tomato stake.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I want to get the most distance I can with my g30 I have a g30 sf tec driver with a stiff shaft and I'm hitting it 280 to over 320 depending on wind, but I have to take alot off my swing becouse I'm flexing stiff shaft to much. What shaft do u recommend to get most distance I can and I would need at least a xstiff shaft at least.

Had a Taylormade RBZ Stage 2 with X-Stiff Rocketfuel 50, I loved the shaft, was going to put it in my XR16, but it got broken. What would be an equalivent substitute?

Asked by: Jtcchs1298
The Rocketfuel 50 was a Fujikura shaft made for Taylor Made. We do still have a couple of Fujikura Fuel 50 S flex shafts in stock (FK0069). You could tip trim 1" to make the S flex play like an X-stiff flex. It will be a little different then the stock Taylor Made Rocketfuel shaft but it might be the closest replacement. http://www.golfworks.com/fujikura-fuel-graphite-wood-shafts/p/FK0069/ We stock very few 50 gram X-stiff flex wood shafts. Another shaft I would look at is the Aldila NV 55 (AL202201) in the X flex. http://www.golfworks.com/aldila-nv-graphite-wood-shaft/p/1205W/

Hi, I use Cobra AMP Cell with Fujikura Fuel shaft. If I replace the shaft... do I necessarily need to change the adapter as well?

Asked by: MSB
You can install a new shaft into a new shaft adapter or you will have to remove the existing shaft from the existing shaft adapter and install the new shaft. The new shaft does have to be installed into a shaft adapter to work with the AMP Cell driver.

What tip would I use for a Ping G30? I would like the shaft 1/2" shorter than the standard G30. Is there any added charge?

Asked by: Jim
The PGC002 is the shaft adaptor for the Ping G30. If we are installing the shaft into the shaft adaptor the charge for prepping the shaft and installing the shaft adaptor is $10.00. If we are prepping the shaft and you will be installing it into the shaft adaptor the charge is $4.95.

I have a R15 with a regular shaft and want to move to stiff, will this manage that? Also, if I order this as it's an "install" only, do you need the club to complete, or will you just assemble shaft and adapter? Suggestions?...

Asked by: NJDon
Yes the Fuel will work with the R15 and should work fine as long as it's specifications fit your needs. With the install only it can be just installed into the shaft adaptor. It does not have to be the complete club.

My son broke the shaft on his Taylor Made RBZ stage 2 10.5 degree driver. It has a Fujikuru Rocket Fuel Flex S 50 Grams shaft. Please recommend the right replacement with accessories. Thanks

Asked by: Doug
The FK0069 Fuel shaft that we stock will play a little stiffer then the stock Rocket Fuel shaft that Fujikura made for Taylor Made. However this still might be your closest replacement. You would need a new shaft adapter to fit this .335" tip diameter shaft. The stock shaft adapter used a .350" tip diameter shaft. You would need the BB9065 shaft adapter.

My son hits an original 4DX draw bias driver with extra stuff shaft. The shaft broke. He hit a ping with the fuel shaft in launch monitor and hits it straight but not as far as Nickent head by 35 yards short. Can the fuel go into his nickent head.

Asked by: vince49
I believe the NIckent 4DX driver was a .335" tip diameter shaft size and the Fujikura Fuel shaft will fit. If the Nickent driver used a .350" tip diameter shaft the Fuel shaft could be shimmed to fit using either the SHIM15 or the Universal Plastic Shim BB9018. This is an older Nickent driver back before Nickent went out of business and I am just not sure if they used a .335" shaft or a .350" shaft.

I want to put a regular flex shaft into my M1 driver. what do you recommend

Asked by: Dewey
It would help to know what you need this new shaft to do for you? Taylor Made uses a Fujikura Pro 60 shaft as a stock shaft in the M1 driver. This shaft is made exclusively for Taylor Made. We do stock the Pro 63 (FK0081) and the Pro 53 (FK0080) and either one could match well with the M1 assuming the shafts match your needs. We also have the Fujikura EXS 5.0 and 6.0 (FK0071) that could work well. The Fujikura Fuel 50 or 60 could also work well. It just depends on which shaft best fits your needs. http://www.golfworks.ca/fujikura-pro-53-63-graphite-wood-shafts/p/FK0080/ http://www.golfworks.ca/fujikura-pro-53-63-graphite-wood-shafts/p/FK0080/ http://www.golfworks.com/fujikura-exs-graphite-wood-shafts/p/FK0071/
