GolfPride CP2 Wrap Grip Specifications

Golf Pride CP2 Wrap Grip is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feeling grip I bought a set of these for my Ping I25 irons and G30 woods and hybrids. I love them. They have just the right amount of firmness and tackiness to give me confidence in my grip and not having to hold the club with a "death grip." One of the nicest grips I have used in a long, long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from golf pride CP2 wrap grip kit The grips are good but the tape in the kit was to short and didn't cover the end of the shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent grip The CP2 wrap grip is a really sound grip. It is tacky and is easy to hold. It also is easy on the hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best grips under $10.00 Soft durable and tacki, a great combination! You can buy cheaper grips but you end up changing them more often. The slightly larger lower portion of the grip is easier on the hands especially if you have some arthritis. This has become the grip of choice for the people I do grips for!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get a Grip I have been using these grips for 2 seasons (Midwest) and found they are soft, somewhat tacky. However the wrap design is not as comfortable (to me) as the Golf Pride CP2 Pro Grip. Either one you can't lose...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soft grips Installed the grips on my irons about three weeks ago and the grips are softer as described and tacky. I like them.

I currently use std size GP Tour Velvet Supertacks with 2 papers under my top hand and 4 under my bottom hand. What would the equivalent be with the CP2s?

Asked by: DMacnotGMac
In the CP2 grips you would use the standard size grip and install the grips with 2 build up wraps under the whole grip to maintain the a similar size. You would not need the wraps under the bottom hand as the CP2 grips are already built up under the bottom hand.

does the tape have to be 1/4 inch over the end of the club

Asked by: tunner
You want the double sided grip tape to cover the butt end of the shaft. It keeps solvent and debris from getting down inside the shaft and covers the sharp edge of the shaft to make it easier to get the grip started on the shaft.

How much smaller is the G2 Wrap undersized than the reg.

Asked by: Pete
A standard size men's grip installed on a shaft measures .900" measured at 2" down from the top edge of the grip cap. The Undersize grip installed measures .885" measured at 2" down from the top edge of the grip cap.
