Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits many shafts I always keep some of these around the shop. They need to be sanded to fit many different shafts, but when a customer wants it now... you don't need to wait for something to be shipped. There is no doubt buying the exact size is much easier. I just don't see any reason to keep that much inventory. If sanded correctly, there is plenty of thickness in this to hold up to two inches of extention.

The GSE and USGE are sized to match up with the outside diameter of a .600" butt diameter shaft.

What size and item # extender do I use to extend my Taylor Made Burner 20 graphite regular stock clubs

Asked by: Rick06
If you have the Burner 2.0 irons with the stock REAX Superfast 65 graphite iron shafts you should use the GW4000 Green (.5225") extension. If you have a wood shaft likely the USGE extension but Taylor Made used some different weight and butt diameter shafts in these drivers. To know the correct extension we need to know the inside diameter measurement at the butt end of the shaft. We do not have that information for these clubs and do not have these clubs or shafts to be able to get that measurement.

My custom irons are 1/2 inch longer in length then a standard club. What would you recommend I extend my driver and threewood?

Asked by: Basetan
These days drivers and 3 woods are longer by comparison to irons in terms of the lengths we make them. You may not need to extend these clubs. However if the lengths of these clubs feel short to you then extending them would be an option. If you feel comfortable at address and swinging the driver and 3 wood and can hit them on the center of the clubface you really would not need to extend them. If you do extend them the 1/2" you extended your irons could be a good starting point with the driver and 3 wood.

I have a tailor-made R 15 hybrid Three wood with a speeder 77 evolution regular flex graphite fujikura shaft. I would like to extend it an inch or so. I'm 6'4'' and it seems I'm just too hunched over with this shaft length.

Asked by: Basetan
The GSE extension should work for the Speeder 77 Evolution shaft use in the R15 hybrid. Generally it fits well in the shafts in the mid 70 gram weight range.

I want to extend ladies taylormade rocketbalz shafts by one inch. Which insert do I need?

Asked by: Denise
We need to know the measurement of the inside shaft diameter at the butt end of the shaft to know which extension would be the correct one. We do not have that measurement for this shaft. I know it is a very light weight graphite shaft and generally the USGE would be the correct extension for this type of shaft. http://www.golfworks.com/graphite-shaft-extensions/p/GSE/

I would like to extend an M2 Reax 65 graphite iron shaft. Which extender would I get?

Asked by: Rickvette
Being a 65 gram weight shaft it would likely use the USGE extension. I do not know the butt diameter of the REAX 65 nor the inside diameter measurement at the butt end of the shaft to know for sure but generally the USGE fits the 65 gram weight shafts.
