KBS Tour C-Taper Lite Shaft Specs

KBS C-Taper Lite .355" Steel Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like adding a turbo I never thought I could improve on OEM, especially Titleist. But I popped the DGS-300 out and added KBS C-Taper Lites and watch my short irons increase in length but even better was the higher ball flight. I thought I had easier load and release with my long irons, so I am giving these shafts a table pounding BUY. (single digit in the off season)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shafts The S+ shaft is the best I've ever played. My mishits are better and I can easily flight the ball to any trajectory. I've played many different shafts and the S+ C Taper is the best.

Would these stepless steel shafts be applicable for 3 wood and driver? I changed out my hybrid shaft to steel and love it... I want the same for my woods

Asked by: tupac
No, iron shafts will not fit and cannot be used in drivers and fairway woods. We stock 2 steel wood shafts. They are True Temper Dynamic Gold (UDGW) and the True Temper Command (TT202101). These shafts could be used in drivers and fairway woods. The are both stepped steel shafts, not stepless.

which shaft is best to replace the ping zz-lite stiff to a kbs tour C ?

Asked by: sid
The ZZ Lite was approximately a 118 raw gram weight shaft that played in an X flex range. The C-taper Lite tests and plays a little more flexible then normal so I would look at the X flex. http://www.golfworks.com/kbs-c-taper-lite-355-steel-iron-shafts/p/FS0035/

Do you have these shafts in 90, instead of 110?

Asked by: Mike
No we do not have the C-taper Lite 90 gram weight shaft. The C-taper Lite 90 was made for Taylor Made and is not available in the aftermarket.

I'm looking for C Taper 90 can only seem to find 105/110 ?

Asked by: Doug
The C Taper 90 was made exclusively for Taylor Made and is not available to the aftermarket. The C Taper Lite (FS0038) would be the closest we would have to the 90. The C Taper 90 is a .370" parallel tip shaft. http://www.golfworks.com/kbs-c-taper-lite-golf-shafts/p/FS0038/

I'm using x100 dynamic shafts now to switch to kbs what shaft should I be looking for?

Asked by: court
The KBS C-Taper would be your lowest launch and spin option. For a slightly higher launch look at the Tour or Tour V models.

Are these shafts available as a frequency matched and pured set?

Asked by: Diceman
The shafts can be Pured. The manufacturer does not indicate the shafts are "frequency matched", but if installed properly, into heads that progress in weight properly, and cut properly in 1/2 inch increments from the butt end for length, the set will have a frequency consistent slope. Pureing is something we can do to the raw shaft to insure consistent shaft oreintation at the time of assembly, thus yielding more consistent shaft performance.
