Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft for the price I bought these shafts about a month ago and installed them on my "metals." After the first round to get familiar with their characteristics, I am enjoying playing with the new shafts. They do give me more distance, straighter shots and feel light and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Possible Value and Performance I continue to be impressed with the TheGolfWorks shafts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Stick I bought this shaft to put into a TaylorMade Burner 2 Superfast 9.5 degree driver. I did this for a pal and he likes the club now that it has a stiff shaft.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine Shaft Installed it into a Nike VR-S str8 fit. Now I am longer and straighter than my buddies. A good replacement for the OEM shaft.

Cobra 9 degree deep face driver. Grandson (6'4" 25 years old) used it. Original shaft broke at hozel. I drilled out hozel to about 1 1/4 ". Seems like diameter of hozel is .354 not sure. What shaft should a young tiger learning golf use?

Asked by: Carl
We do still offer the Aldila NV shaft with a .350" tip diameter. The shaft design could work well for him. We have both the 65 and 75 gram weight version.

I just bought a shaft for a 7 iron and one for a 3 hybrid. Can't find the tip trimming instructions for them. Where do I get the instructions?

Asked by: WGS
Check on the corresponding item page of the shaft. The trim codes are published about half way down the page with the rest of the specs. In that same area there is a link to the trimming instructions. You can also click this link below for the trimming chart.

Do you have various shafts built already with different tips to try out? I have a M2 with an R flex and I need at least a S. Good strikes are low draws/hooks right now and struggling to get height and solid strike.

Asked by: Travis
No we do not have any other shafts made up for the M2 driver. We just have the stock Fujikura shafts that come installed in the M2 driver. The stock shafts generally play a little more flexible then normal and they are listed in the 50 gram weight range. Which might be to light for you.

I am looking to reshaft a Callaway Mini. Had a 60 g driver shaft but light sw (C7.5) at 43.75" with 52g grip. Is a driver shaft required and would the MPF work? Or MPF Fairway a better option? Like higher sw and increased trajectory.

Asked by: Wedgemaster
A fairway shaft could be used but will play stiffer in a driver because the driver clubhead weight is lighter then a 3 wood and will make the shaft play stiffer. I never have talked with anyone who had much success using a fairway wood shaft in a driver but it does not mean it could not work. It takes a 9 gram change of shaft weight to change a club 1 swingweight so the fairway wood shaft might give you 2 more swingweights. This is one of those things you have to be willing to experiment with to find out if it will work for you.

What does the 4B2M mean at the end of the shaft qualifying data?

Asked by: Duke1
The 4B2M is a Maltby Playability Factor code that comes from your answers to a series of questions. 4B2M would indicate a (4) Stiff flex, B (Distance and Accuracy), 2 (medium trajectory), M (no left or right correction needed). On our website you can go to the Maltby Playability Factor and then to the Find the shaft that Fits your game tab and it will take you to the questions. The Shaft MPF is designed to narrow down the choices of shafts and identify shafts that have the general specifications and characteristics that could fit your game.

I have a Cleveland 588 custom driver with the regular flex shaft and the adjustable tip do you install the adjustable tip on the shaft that would fit my driver as well as a grip looking for a senior flex shaft as my swing speed is about 70mph thanks

Asked by: bill
We do not stock a shaft adapter for the Cleveland 588 driver. We do offer an assembly service for installing the adapters and grips so that they can be just installed when the customer receives them. There is a chance that we can special order a shaft adapter for the Cleveland 588 driver. You would need to contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-848-8358 or by email at regarding a special order.

Could you install a TaylorMade Adapter on this shaft for a SLDR head?  Also, could you trim to play at 45" with the adapter installed?

Asked by: Jeff
Yes we can do all of this for you. You will need to order the shaft and the adaptor (TM0023) and request to have the shaft installed and tell us what setting in the shaft adapter you would like the shaft set to.
