Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana Blue Graphite Wood Shaft Specifications

Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana Blue Graphite Wood Shaft is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from +1.2 handicapper review This shaft plays with almost the same dynamics as a dynamic gold shaft(gone graphite) I play the 93x in the driver and 103x in the fairway, they weighed 91.25grams and 101.5 respectively. I weighed and measured them myself. they require very little spine alignment(tweaking) where aldila's proto by you nanotubes requires a lot, and forget fujikura speeders, they are so wobbly its pathetic! These are the straightest you can buy(not just hitting, spine alignment, and frequency) and by far the straightest shaft I have hit. Distance isn't the emphasis with this shaft, accuracy is, but its amazing how hard you can go after the ball with a stable and aligned shaft(the red board is for distance and high flight, and notice nobody condsiders it). . .this is it, and forget the price, there are $1200 shafts out there that can't hang with this!!! SOOOOO STABLE!! In these days of tee it high and let it fly, nothing is as accurate in graphihte!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Driver Shaft I had a 8.5 TaylorMade R5 Dual Driver with TrueTemper Stiff Shaft (standard), but it was not giving me a Feed just before the impact. I then changed my shaft to Mitsubishi Diamana 83 Stiff and this made a worldly difference in terms of impact consistency and power, resulting in greater driving distance. This shaft is so good that I bought another same shaft and is being reshafted to my Callaway FT-i 8.5 head. Give this try and you will never go back to "other" shafts.

Can I tip trim the shaft and get it to play reasonably close to a stiff flex version?

Asked by: deke
The general "rule of thumb" with graphite shafts is that 1" is equal to 1 flex. So tip trimming this shaft 1" more then what is recommended should make it play more like an S flex.

I have a G30, has a R flex shaft. I need more power. I have played with Diamana S+..the Diamana Blue Graphite appears to be very similar. I was thinking of buying the 73R flex, a Ping 630 shaft adopter and Ping grip. Can you assemble this or do I need to

Asked by: Ross
You will need to enter an order for the Adaptor, Shaft and Grip. At Checkout in the notes box at the bottom of the page enter the information as to how you want the shaft installed. Do you want the logo on top of on the back of the shaft at address. Which setting do you want the shaft installed to. What finished length do you want the club to be and do you want any special sizing for the grip installation.

Do you have this shaft in a stiff flex

Asked by: rbjohnson75
This is an older model shaft and we only have the R flexes left in stock.

Do you have this shaft in stiff? Is this shaft discontinued? I love this shaft and am looking to put it in my club but can't find it anywhere?

Asked by: Jlee
The original Blue Board is a discontinued product. We do still have some of the 73 gram R flex. Mitsubishi tells us that the Diamana S+ is very similar in playability to the orginal Blue Board shaft. We have one 62 S in stock and two 72 S in stock at this time.
