Where is pg. 52 for the trim code? I'm putting this shaft in a TM Rescue Dual 4 hybrid (22*), final length is 39.5 inches. How much do I trim the tip? Thanks.

Asked by: Bill
The trimming instructions are listed online. If you enter the MR0032 code, then click "Trimming Instructions" at the bottom portion of the page, the triiming instruction sheet will come up. Look under the Mitsubishi product, and the hybrid trimming is listed. Mitsubishi lists the recommended trimming by "H1, H2, H3 etc.. Since yours is a 4 hybrid, the trimming calls for 1.5" tip trim, then trim to final playing length fro the butt end after installation.

Any reason why these cannot perform well as an iron shaft? Or are they designed to work only on hybrids?

Asked by: Housemonk2
They could work well in irons if they are set up properly. Hybrid shaft tip trimming is based on hybrid finished club lengths and hybrid clubhead weights. You have to get creative with the tip trimming instructions for irons. This hybrid shaft has a 4" parallel tip length which means you cannot tip trim more then 2.5" for any irons and still be able to properly install the shaft. Depending on what your set makeup is would determine how you would go about trip trimming these or what progression of tip trimming you would do.
