Nippon Shaft Specifications

Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 120 .355 Tip Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth, long and great trajectory! Installed in a few clubs to test... now I'm putting in all my irons. Smoother than the KBS Tour... with the trajectory of Project X. Simply the best iron shaft I've ever hit. Expensive, but well worth it.

Ok so I have been playing the taylormade tp 2014 blade model with kbs c taper r+ shafts I love them but I want to get away from the heavier shafts... Would modus3 work or kbs tour v work?

Asked by: Joshua
Either the KBS Tour V or the Modus3, depending on which Modus3, could work. The N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 120 is lighter with a low/mid trajectory staying closer to the low trajectory of the C-taper. The KBS Tour V is lighter with a mid trajectory. Personally with new shafts I like to get one of two and try them before committing to the full set.

What is the tip stiffness of these and the Modus 105?

Asked by: rjordan
Nippon lists the Modus 105 as a mid bend point mid trajectory shaft that would have a medium tip stiffness.

Thanks for your response earlier, you've been a great help. One final question: for my Honma TW717V 7 iron, should I purchase uncut 38" or 39"? Thanks again. David

Asked by: Vondave
For the 7 iron you need the 38.5" shaft.
