Ping I20 and G Series Shaft Adaptors

Ping shaft adaptor designed for the I20 and all the G series drivers and fairways. Also fits the Ping Rapture and Rapture V2 drivers. Available in both .335" and .350".

Ping I20 and G Series Shaft Adaptors is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ping i20 and G-series shaft adaptors These make it easy to adapt your shaft to the Ping i20 and G-series metalwood heads. The fit is good. My only nit might be the fact that the ferrule head is slightly larger than the my G20 driver hosel so I needed to sand it after install and then use acetone to polish the ferrule. Would like to see them fit exactly so I didn't need to perform this additional step. But not a big deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shaft adapter works perfectly I reshafted my G15 driver with a more flexible shaft. The adapter worked flawlessly in fitting a .335 shaft into the G15 .350 head. The club is perfect for me reduced swing speed

I am having my Ping 120 reshafted at Dick's. The Pro there says he is going to use a shim. Does that mean that he doesn't have the right size adapter?

Asked by: Joeyc113
Dick's does not stock the BB9048 Ping Adaptor. They would have to special order it from us. They could also reshaft using our brass shim (SHIM15) and a standard ferrule. It will accomplish the same thing and work just as well. http://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-brass-adaptor-shims/p/SHIM/

I have a Ping i20 strong 3 wood which I would like to re-shaft. What is the tip size?

Asked by: Chuck
The Ping I20 3 wood uses a .350" tip diameter shaft. To install a .335" tip diameter shaft you will use .335" adaptor.

Hi guys, I have two Ping G20 hybrids I want to reshaft.Which adaptors ( if any ) do I need for the job, or is there a low kick point shaft (high trajectory) that would fit?

Asked by: Jess
The problem with reshafting the G20 hybrids is that they use a .355" taper tip shaft and we do not offer a .355" taper tip hybrid shaft. You could use a .355" taper tip iron shaft like the Aerotech Steelfiber 70CW (AT0020I) or possibly the Xcaliber (AS0028). The ferrule is a collared ferrule like the BB9047 or the BB0008.

will this adaptor fit the G2 driver?

Asked by: Eddie
Yes this will fit the G2 driver. If you are installing a .335" shaft order the .335" size and the .350" for a .350" tip diameter shaft.

I want to put a .335 shaft in a .350 hosel. Which adapter do I buy, the .335 or .350?

Asked by: Rich
You would want the BB9048 .335" to install the .335" shaft into the .350" hosel bore.

Is a special ferrule needed to reshaft a Callaway X2 Hot 3 Deep faiway ? A .350 shaft does not fit and a .335 shaft has some play. It appears either that the hosel is chamfered or requires a collared ferrule though the hosel is not stepped. Any advice?

Asked by: pete
The X2 Hot 3 Deep was listed as a .335" hosel bore. You would use a plain black ferrule like the the 60PW or a collared ferrule like the BB0005. I would use some Quik Center (QCSB) to tighten the fit and keep the shaft centered in the bore. If you use the 60PW ferrule make sure the countersink fills with epoxy. http://www.golfworks.com/collared-golf-club-ferrules/p/BB0001/ http://www.golfworks.com/golf-club-wood-ferrules-black/p/60PW/ http://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-quick-center-shafting-beads/p/QCSB/
