I ASSEMBLED A SET OF IRONS FOR MYSELF USING THE i 80 R FLEX. I AGREE WITH MY CUSTOMER THE BEST SHAFTS I HAVE EVER HAD IN A SET OF IRONS. I RECOMMEND THESE SHAFTS TO MY FRIENDS AND ANYONE WANTING A GREAT QUALITY SHAFT AT A REASONABLE PRICE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i95's We installed the stiff i95's in the VEGA VM-02 raw iron heads(D4)and put the i110's in the wedges. We also built a set for my father(8 handicap) with regular i95's and the VEGA VC-03 heads(D4). The shaft/head combo has an incredible look and feel. Shaft is very stable despite the intitial overall light feel and the traj is perfect. I would recommended these shafts to players of all levels and swing speeds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect shaft? This shaft is amazing. I have reshafted some Mizunos to produce a lighter total weight but increased swingweight. they feel great and I was able to add about 5 mtrs distance on mid and onger irons with no noticeable loss of control or accuracy. All the advantages of graphite without any downsides. I highly recommend them they are a real quantum leap forward in technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moe I played these shafts for the first time in a set of mizuno-m62 irons. One word "outstanding". I has been playing project x rifle 6.0 120 grams... what a difference in clubhead speed, distance, accuracy, and feel. Thinking about reshafting my calloway forged-x irons with the 95 gram shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great control and distance I have used these shafts with the MXU utility heads, and they give excellent accuracy and distance. I have also used the Steelfiber shafts in some irons, and my customers really like the control and distance, along with outsanding feel. Overall, it is a fine shaft.

What is 'pureing'?

Asked by: davidnick
Here is a link to the SST Pure web site which has the information on shaft puring.http://www.sstpure.com/ Here is another link to a You Tube video of how a shaft is Pured. https://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play;_ylt=A0LEVinYyEdVvjQALnMnnIlQ;_ylu=X3oDMTBsa3ZzMnBvBHNlYwNzYwRjb2xvA2JmMQR2dGlkAw--?p=SST+Puring+youtube&tnr=21&vid=07C4B81B704B48F2FF4207C4B81B704B48F2FF42&l=170&turl=http%3A%2F%2Fts1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DWN.KG4q6ServiuZyJe%252fhjNH0Q%26pid%3D15.1&sigi=1213uk9n4&rurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DECfctlsR22w&sigr=11bgi9ack&tt=b&tit=SST+P.U.R.E.+Golf+Shaft+Alignment+and+Analysis+-+English&sigt=11oapuhe2&back=https%3A%2F%2Fsearch.yahoo.com%2Fyhs%2Fsearch%3Fp%3DSST%2BPuring%2Byou%2Btube%26ei%3DUTF-8%26hsimp%3Dyhs-001%26hspart%3Dmozilla%26fr%3Dyhs-mozilla-001&sigb=13ispnfol&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-001 Basically the testing identifies the stiff side of the shaft and it is aligned facing the target to promote more consistency in how the shafts perform from one club to the next.

I have a Taylormade Rocketbladez 5 iron and I want to put the an Aerotech i95 stiff shaft in it. Is the .370 tip size going to be easily installed into this iron?

Asked by: dtdano
Yes the Rocketbladez are a .370" hosel bore so there should be no problem installing the .370" tip size shafts into these irons. This is the link for the 95 gram weight .370" shafts. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_AT0015I

what Is tip size for taylor made aeroburner

Asked by: skip
I have sent an email to Taylor Made requesting this information but have not yet heard back from them. I feel quite sure that the aeroburner irons would be a .370" hosel bore.

I have a 55 and 50 degree TM ATV wedge that I am thinking about putting a graphite shaft into. My swing speed is average...8 iron-150yds. I like being able to really feel the club head with a wedge. What shaft would you recommend?

Asked by: Dennycat23
Shaft options in the MPF category of 4B2M would be recommended.

Play callaway apex irons. Have driver swing speed around 91. Tried i95 regular but find the tip to stiff especially in the long irons. 60 years old and 8 index. What iron shaft do you recommend.

Asked by: Driver
We have seen good results with the True Temper XP95 in steel. Also, the Nippon N.S. Pro 950GH in R flex might be an option if you want to stay with the mid 90 gram weight. It comes in both .370 tip and .355. If you want to consider a graphite option, the Graphite Design G-Series iron in R flex is 83 might be an option, however it only comes in .370 tip, so you would need to check the bore diameter of the Callaway Apex. I am not sure if it is .370 or .355. If it is .355, options include the Steel Fiber 80cw in R flex (85 grams), or the Xcaliber Iron shaft in R flex .355 (75 grams). All of these have medium to soft tips.
