Bore Through Shaft Pins
Using epoxy, these graphite pins are inserted into the end of the shaft and sanded smooth to conform to the sole of the head. This method is efficient and will result in a factory finished look. The Black tip pins come 25 to a package. Now with a nail type head for easier installation.

Easy to use; Poorly constructed

These shaft pins are easy to use and work well; however, they have bubbles along their centerline that become pits in the finished club. I noticed the pits after I finished sanding and polishing the Callaway irons (angled through bore) I reshafted. The pits were also the first thing my friends noticed when inspecting my clubs. There seems to be a flaw in the manufacturing process, however, the pits do not appear to affect play, just the cosmetics of the club.
