The GolfWorks High Strength Epoxy
This high-impact, high-strength epoxy is formulated for clubmakers. Creates a very strong bond. High shear strength for very high torque resistance. Available in 50 ml. cartridge as well as in squeeze bottles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Just For Clubs Decided to try this epoxy because it was a great price and it is black. Easier to use than clear. I have used this epoxy on clubs and on several boat and car projects. With the 4 hour working time, I have plenty of time to set up several projects at one time. The product is easy to mix, easy to apply and when dry has just the perfect balance of strength and flexibility. The viscosity is just right to allow it to flow out to a smooth finish. Highly recommended for all projects requiring epoxy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great epoxy, really like it for expensive heads On occasion when you epoxy a head or set leave it on your bench to dry overnight and come in the next day you will find that you got some seepage and there is some epoxy on the outside of the hosel, with my old epoxy from litco and then Intregal Products this was disaster, as even with a new razor blade it was very difficult to get off and has ruined many heads over the years. What I like about this epoxy is that if that happens it seems to be not 100% hardened and for the most part I can scrape it off with my fingernail, if that's not enough I can easily clean it up with a new razor blade, then turn the ferrule and polish it with acetone and wallah beauty. I concentrate on Miura and Epon products which are terribly expensive and I cannot afford to ruin a head, this epoxy ensures that I don't. Also my old supplier wanted me to buy a case to get the same price I had gotten for many years, well epoxy has a shelf life and I don't want to buy a case, to buy single big bottle of A and B they were almost double what Golfworks is. I also use this for lots of other projects to glue together fiberglass and other substraights; works on everything. Also on metal pipes, aluminum, glass plexiglass it works well. I buying more to seal an old car frame from rusting, after sandblasting. also you can add West Epoxy cotton fillers to make it thicker to fill surface pock marks. Good golfing Paul

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good shafting epoxy. I've been using this shafting epoxy for about 15 years or more. It is also good for D.I.Y.'ers. I've found many uses for it. It works well for adding shaft extensions also. As my vision gets worse I sometimes have a problem measuring the 2 parts equally but it has been forgiving if I didn't get the two parts equal. I add shafting beads when I build a new club or replace a shaft for a friend. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This epoxy lasts forever I have had the 4oz bottles for about 15 years now and it still flows and bonds up solid. I would get fresh for club heads but the way it still sets up bet I could get away with using this 15 year old stuff. I am getting more this week end from Westbury store in case I need it and before my state wont allow it anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from dependable previously had used Golfsmith epoxy which was too viscose,ran, and created poor bonds. This epoxy is easy to work with when doing an entire set or just a single club. Not runny and provides a solid proven bond.

will epoxy work on steel&graphite shafts,attaching heads?

This works very well with both steel and graphite shafts. I personally have been using this epoxy since 1982.

I put an adapter on a shaft. Now I would like to turn it. Can I just heat it and turn it, or do I have to take off and start again?

You need to remove the adaptor and start again. Clean the shaft tip and the inside of the adaptor and re-epoxy. The OEM Adaptor Saver Kit (GW0130) works well for removing the adaptor.

Which do you recommend? I put knives (metal) into deer antlers. Which is the strongest for this since I guarantee them for life?

Been using the EPX1 epoxies for years on golf club and cannot speak for sure about your applications but I would think it would work just fine.

What is the mix ratio for Part A and Part B? I used this the other day and mixed 1:1 which is what the bottle said on the side. It been sitting for about 4 days now and the left over puddle is still tacky and very flexible.?

This is a 1:1 mix epoxy and will not set up hard and brittle but should not be tacky. It should be set at a temperature in the low to mid 70 degree range. I have personally used this epoxy for years and will just mix a 1:1 ratio by eye on a piece of cardboard without any problems.

Can this epoxy withstand temperatures up to 550*F like JB weld?

No this epoxy will not withstand that type of temperature nor will any of the other epoxies that we sell. This epoxy will break down at approximately 250 degrees.

Is this epoxy waterproof? I want to use it to fill in the casting cavities on a washer drum spider to add strength to the cavities that have corrosion. The epoxy will periodically be in a soapy water solution. Will it stick to cast aluminum. thanks

This is an epoxy that is formulated to work with golf clubs and beyond that we really do not know what other applications it might work with. It will bond to cast aluminum, we have cast aluminum golf club heads. How waterproof and durable it would be for your application is really a question we do not have an answer for.

Hello, Can I use this epoxy to fill 1/4" x 1/4" holes in aluminum engine parts? Can the epoxy hold up under high underhood temps of 225+?

No this epoxy will not work for this job. None of the epoxies we sell would work for this job.
