Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G Golf Grip Specifications

Because of arthritic hands I am considering oversize grips for my JPX 800 irons as well as my woods. Are the Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G oversize a recommended replacement ? What is the reason for .600 as opposed to .580 when selecting the proper size?

Asked by: Don M
The 2G Jumbo could be a good choice for your condition. Tacki and a good medium feel, not too soft, not too hard. The core diameter designation tells you what the inside dimater of the grip is. A .600 core on a .600 butt diamter shaft will give you a "standard" grip size. A .580 grip core size on a .600 butt diameter shaft will actually make the grip size slightly oversize (1/64") because the smaller core is stretched or expanded over the larger butt eiamter shaft. We have a chart on our website to help understand grip sizing as it relates to grip core size and shaft butt diameter.
