Lead Shaft Tip Weights
Lead Shaft Tip Weights are epoxied into the shaft tip during assembly to achieve you desired swingweight. Sold in packages of 6 weights each.

Lead Shaft Tip Weights is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from PX Shafts I asked if the lead weights for irons would fit in tapered tip shafts or only .370 parallel. Customer service said either so I bought a pack of each weight. I PX95 pulls that had been drilled out and brand new PX 5.5's the weights were too faat and had to be hammered into the shaft peeling off lead all around. I would not recommend these for taper tip shafts -ONLY-parallel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from sizing The catalog needs to list steel iron shaft sizing for these items. ie) for .370 or .355 shafts.

Have r5 taylormade drver. Is their a tool to get inside club? Weight change?

Asked by: trac
You would need the Taylor Made Universal Torque Wrench for removing these weights. We also sell replacement weights in different gram weights that will fit the R5 driver. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_TM0018 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_BB9027

Do any of these fit kbs tour stiff taper tip shafts?

Asked by: bigdog
If you are using KBS Tour .355" taper tip shaft then yes you would use the GW0105 Steel Wood Tip Weights. If you are using KBS Tour .370" parallel tip shafts then you would use the GW0106 Steel Iron Tip Weights.

I shortened the graphite shaft (Diamana S+) for my Titleist 915 D3 Driver and need 14 grams of weight to return it to original specs. I'm thinking of putting 10g of tip weight and replace the driver weight with 14g. Would this work?

Asked by: Lito 1
Putting a 14 gram weight and then a 10 gram tip weight would give you 15 grams. The stock weight is 9 grams. I did almost the same thing. Hope this helps.?

Does anyone know where you can get shaft weight tips to fit a 'scandium' shaft that has an ID of .024. Thanks

Asked by: HLM310
From the measurement that you have listed the only weights that will work would be the weights for graphite shafts. GTW2 & GTW4 in brass GW0107 in lead GW0121 in rubber tungsten When you install especially the lead or rubber tungsten weights you need to be sure to get epoxy on the stem of the weight or they could break loose and slide up and down inside the shaft. Even with the brass weights it would be important to have epoxy on the stem or it could rattle.

Can you add tip weights without removing shaft from club head? If so how do you do it? Thanks

Asked by: Jc007
No, to properly install these tip weights the shafts would have to be removed. The head of these weights fits between the bottom of the shaft tip and the bottom of the hosel bore.

this is confusing..which weights have the long stem for graphite shafts?

Asked by: Martinez
The long stem weights are designated for graphite. They come in 2 gram, 4 gram and 6 gram options. The code number for the graphite tip weights is GW0107.

how can i get 17 gram weight for each club

Asked by: papa2155
17 grams of weight in the head is equivalent to 8 1/2 swingweights, which is a substantial amount. The GW0105 shaft tip weights are only available up to 10 grams. You could add 10 grams of weight with the shaft tip weights and use lead tape on the head for the balance of what you needed. We do not advice using more than 10 gram shaft tip weights.

Will the steel iron shaft tip weights fit into a 355 tapered tip shaft? I'm using a Project x 5.5 tapered tip shaft.

Asked by: Tim T
They will fit into a .355" shaft tip but it is not recommended. The added length to the tip will make your shafts fit very loose. You should consider using lead or tungsten powder and a cork.
