Maltby MMB Forged Irons is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best irons ever! I have so far made 3 sets of these irons. 2 sets were for juniors and one set was for me. I am a Mizuno player myself (7 Mizuno sets at home), and I mainly play with MP 57 and MP 63 or when season is late MP 67, and this is just so much better and I have finally switched. It has the forgiveness of a cavity back but good hits feel just like a Mizuno blade with the dispersion of a blade. Highly recommend it over ANY iron out there. I started the juniors with the regular 115 FST shaft and this year they have moved to a stiff FST 115 shaft. I am using mine with an X100 shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Iron Switch to this iron From a Ping i3+, i want to go back to a more bladed Iron. WOW am I impressed with the Playing factor of this Iron. feel is awsome and control is very good. This iron is very easy to maintain when bending the loft and Lie. it has added about 10 yards to each club too. I would recommend this to anyone looking to play a bladed forged Iron, not to mention the price is right. I am using the FST PRO 115 shafts with these clubs. This Club is very comparable to all other forged Iron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Feeling Irons I have put a set of these MMB's together in the spring time 5-PW and i have upgraded to the KBS Tour shafts set to 6.0. And i love the way they feel and they look awesome. I have used them this season and im very impressed with the way they performed. I have comepared them to several other named brands head to head and very little difference in distance carry and ball flight. I'm planning on adding the 4 iron in my bag instead of my current hybrid. And looking at adding the MG wedges as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic These MMB's are the best feeling clubs that I have hit since my '70s Titleist, which I practice with to make sure I have good ball striking. I built these MMB's last weekend and got to play with them yesterday. Even in thirty mile an hour wind, I could control the ball flight and hit solid shots. I had to hit a lot of 3 irons and they hit real sweet from all lies. I was playing Maltby M-05's but I wanted to move the ball more accurately. These MMB's are great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed This is the best iron I've ever hit. They aren't for beginners in my opinion. They blend the look of a blade and the playability of the cavity back to near perfection. All of my friends that have hit my Maltbys have fallen for them as well. Great club, great looks, great feel, great job!

MMB forged 5 iron. Is it available?

Asked by:
The original MMB forged #5 irons are no longer available. We do have a newer version of the iron (MMB17 - MA0226) available. The new version is very similar in shape and playability to the original.
