Maltby MPF Distance Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft for the price I bought these shafts about a month ago and installed them on my "metals." After the first round to get familiar with their characteristics, I am enjoying playing with the new shafts. They do give me more distance, straighter shots and feel light and comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Stick I bought this shaft to put into a TaylorMade Burner 2 Superfast 9.5 degree driver. I did this for a pal and he likes the club now that it has a stiff shaft.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine Shaft Installed it into a Nike VR-S str8 fit. Now I am longer and straighter than my buddies. A good replacement for the OEM shaft.

I am looking for a low spin, low launch, tip stiff reg.shaft ?like the Adila Rogue Silver but at a more reasonable price. What would you recommend?

Asked by: Joe R
I would recommend looking at Aldila shafts like the original NV 65 (1205W) or the VS Proto 60 (AL0014W) as shafts that would have similar playing characteristics as the Rogue Silver.

I have a Maltby Distance Master Lite wood shaft in a Stiff flex that you don't make anymore in my driver. I was wondering if you could identify the MPF of that shaft so I could decide whether I need to reshaft or not. Thanks.

Asked by: golfer50
The MPF code for the S flex is 4D2S.

hi, i hit a speeder stiff shaft currently with a cobra head. im a 6 handicap and pushing 50. i think i need a little more kick in my shaft but i don't think i can go to a reg flex yet. what would you suggest

Asked by: jasonpolser
Assuming your clubhead speed, tempo and the way you load does keep you in the S flex range, you would want to look for an S flex with a low/mid bend point and medium tip stiffness. Also, if distance is your main concern or focus, you want to go with the lightest overall weight that you can and still maintain the feel you prefer. You might consider the new ProLaunch Blue Supercharged in S flex.

Which shaft would fit and have the most flex for a senior golfer with a very slow swing?

Asked by: knothead
MPF Distance Graphite in A flex would be a good choice. If you want even more flex and a shaft that is really good for slower swing speeds, you could try the L-Tech in the L flex. Although the L-Tech was orginally designed for women, we have had great success with seniors, juniors and others with slower swing speeds with this shaft.

I have a cobra s2 offset head. How do I know if the shaft tip will fit the head

Asked by: B Mack
The Cobra S2 offset driver requires a .335" tip shaft. For future reference we have an OEM replacement shaft guide listed on our website. It is located under "Expert How-To's" on the right side of the home page. You can use this guide when picking out a shaft for an OEM head to determine the correct tip size you will need.
