KE4 ST-H Hybrids is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Malby fan I just assembled the 24* with a stiff AXE xlaiber tour hybrid shaft last Friday. After playing 2 rounds this weekend my first impression is WOW. Not only does this head look incredible and unique it works very well from the tee, rough and fairway. The shape is unlike any hybrid I have seen before, looking like a cross between a small fairway wood head and a traditional hybrid. The ball gets up quickly and just soars. I cut the shaft at 39 inches and put a 10 gram weight in the head, sw came out at d3. Just perfect for me to fill the gap between my 5 iron and 5 wood. The head ,if anything may be too hot as it seems to go almost 5 wood distance. I may need to choke it down for those 190 to 200 yard shots. Great design on this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great club I've played this hybrid set a few times and am not disappointed. I was told these were great by a pro friend of mine. Worth every penny. Easiest club I've ever hit off the grass. Only wish there was a whole set, 2 through 9 would be nice! Thanks Ralph!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy hitters! Nice high trajectory and straight. Hardly an sideways ball movement. First time I used it on the course produced and eagle, so these left a sweet first impression!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed ! Call me old school but some of us are still "Feel" players. I bought the #3-20 degree head and just matched it with a Maltby MPF Graphite Hybrid Shaft in Regular Flex and this may well be the finest hybrid I've ever hit. Ball screams off the face! Nice shallow face allows for quick, soaring flight off any surface. I just can't say enough about this but it's truly amazing ... thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They're sweet! I was lucky to get to try a prototype of the H3, shafted with a UST m6 reg. 41", d1-2 sw. Incredibly easy to hit. High trajectory but it goes. I had an Adams xdt19*, and this gives me an extra 5 yds. I've used it for a few rounds and have hit some shots I never could have pulled off with the Adams, or even the ke4tour hybrid I also had.

I want to hit a driver (probably 13 degree) off the deck. ?I'd like to build a club specifically designed for me. ?I'm 6'2" tall, average size hands, swing speed is about 120. ?What do you recommend?

Asked by: badgergizmo
We do offer our LTech driver (MA0240) in a 13 degree loft. It is a 460cc driver. It is currently on backorder but due in by the middle of July. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_MA0240 We also have a deepface 3 wood with 14 degrees loft. (MA0228 3d). http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_MA0240 This PAK that we sell for the deepface 3 wood with the Xcaliber Tour Fairway shaft could possibly work well for you. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_PMA0228XCTF

Do you guys make clubs? ?I don't just want to buy a club head. ?I need the right shaft and grip. ?I wouldn't have a clue how to assemble it

Asked by: badgergizmo
Yes the Maltby brand is our club designs. We offer this club in what we call Club Paks that include the head, shaft and grip and you can request that we assemble it for you. Assembly charge is usually $10.00. You can see the PAK's that we offer for this club at the following link. http://www.golfworks.com/search.asp?ss=ma0253&x=0&y=0 You could also order the clubhead plus a shaft and grip of your choice and request that we assemble if for you.

These two clubs are so outstanding ... Any chance for an H2 under development/consideration for those of use who forego fairway woods?

Asked by: dcfury67
I am not aware of any plans for adding a 2H at this time but I will pass along your request.

I will match a KE4 ST-H 20 degree with the steel shaft Score LT - R/S Flex - .370 tip and was wondering what measurement I should use for tipping the shaft for a stiff flex???

Asked by: Boogie free
You should tip trim 1 1/2" from the tip of the Score LT shaft to maintain an S flex when assembling into the ST-H 20 degree hybrid.

I will be assembling one of each of these with a 60g graphite shaft. I am 6' tall and generally play with standard to +1/2" length shafts. What length would you suggest assembling these to?

Asked by: Erik
Assuming the grip weight is 50 grams and the shaft weight is exactly 60 grams, if you make the 3H 40.5" and the 4H 40" in playing lengths, your swingweights should be in the D0-D1 range.

What is the highest ?degree of loft you have in a hybrid?

Asked by: Harry
The highest loft available in a "traditional" hybrid design is 25 degrees. This is the KE4 Tour #5 hybrid. If you require more loft than 25 degrees you might look at the KE4 MP-1 hybrid/irons. This hybrid iron design is available from 23 to 50 degrees and really plays similar to a standard hybrid.
