Mitsubishi Rayon Fubuki Z Wood Shafts

Based on the FUBUKI™ ZT profile, the Z features a similar bend profile to deliver the same stability in the mid- and butt-sections as the ZT, with a tip designed to promote a higher launch than ZT yet maintain low spin. The Z also features progressive torque and a more standard balance point — making it a very versatile shaft designed to fit a wide range of players and abilities.

Can you supply the Fubuki J60 shaft to suit TaylormadeM1 driver in regular flex standard lenght and what would it cost delivered. Regards Bulldog

Asked by: Bulldog
We do have a J60 R flex shaft in stock. The cost of the shaft is $359.99. The Taylor Made M1 adaptor is $28.99 but is currently on backorder and due in the week of Jan. 25th. The installation charge for the Taylor Made adaptor is $10.00. To get all the proper costs and delivery charges it would be best if you contacted our Customer Service department at or by calling 1-800-848-8358.

Would this shaft work with a Taylormade R15?

Asked by: David37
You could install this shaft into the R15 using a new adaptor (TM0023). The R15 uses a .350" tip diameter shaft and the Fubiki Z is only available in a .335" tip diameter. Using the TM0023 adaptor with the Fubuki Z shaft will allow you to properly use this shaft in the R15. The R15 adaptors are currently on backorder and are due in the middle of September.

I'm currently playing a Ping G25 with an Aldila NVS 55R shaft. I'm thinking about trying the Fubuki z 60. Can that shaft be fit with a G25 adapter?

Asked by: Hoganman
Yes the Fubuki Z 60 .335" tip diameter shaft will fit into the G25 adaptor.

Hello The Mitsubishi rayon fubuki Z 50X5CT Flex A shaft fits a X2 Hot driver. I do not see one of these on your list? Can you provide one?

Asked by: Byron
Mitsubishi does not offer the Fubuki Z 50 in an A flex. You might want to look at the Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Black HBP 2nd Gen 50 in the A flex.
