Is this adaptor also for use with the SLDR fairway woods? I use a standard SLDR 3 wood (not the TP version, however it seems that the only difference between the two was the shaft anyway). I was going to fit a RH .335 adapter with this club.

Asked by: EagleM009
Yes, the TM0022 SLDR adaptor will fit into both the driver and fairway wood. The difference between the TP and a std. SLDR is with the tip diameter. The TP adaptors accept a .335" tip and the std. adaptors accept a .350" tip.

How much trimming is needed to install SLDR adapter on new shaft?

Asked by: KeyGolfCo
Depends on which shaft you are installing into the adaptor. Most modern driver shafts do not require any trimming when being inserted into an adaptor. Each shaft in our catalog and web site displays a trim code in the spec box. You can look up the trimming instructions using the trim code here http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/2010_shaft_trim_inst.pdf
