Grafalloy Blue Graphite Wood Shafts

The original Grafalloy Blue remains one of the most popular graphite golf shafts in the history of the game. For 2013, Grafalloy has redesigned Blue using the best materials available today while still maintaining the performance benefits golfers loved about the original.

The new Blue delivers maximum stability and distance for stronger swingers. Blue is available in two weights, 60 g and 70g for heavier drivers and fairway wood applications.

UST Grafalloy Blue Shaft Specifications

Grafalloy Blue Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from True Blue Purchased this mainly because of the color and it had a firm tip. I added the 70X to my R1 and it is working wonderfully. Added the 70X to my R11 3 Wood and it is a dream. Swing speed is about 115 mph. It holds up but, may have to upgrade to a stiffer shaft for my driver. But, this shaft can hang better than I expected it. I will say this purchase is definitely what I was looking for. If Grafalloy can make Blue to a Tour X I would definitely buy it and this would make my day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grafalloy Blue 60 I have been one of those golfers that missed the old Grafalloy Blue and looked long and hard to find one before finally giving up. I happened to hear about the re release of the Grafalloy Blue over the winter and finally got one for my Titleist 913 d3 and I played with it over the weekend and it the same shaft just a few grams lighter. It is a low launch low spin shaft that I felt like I could swing as hard as I wanted without worrying about hitting it left. What a great shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly like the Old Blue Having broken my original Blue on the range a few years ago and not being able to find a shaft I really liked since, I was ecstatic when I heard they were re-releasing it. I have a New Blue 65X in each of my drivers and have just ordered the 75X for my 4 wood. Just as stable as the original and just crisp on every swing. Bravo Grafalloy for re-releasing my favorite shaft. Please don't let it go away again...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shaft Replaced a custom X-flex Kuro Kage shaft in my Nike Covert driver with the 70X and couldn't be happier. I'm getting at least 15-20 yards more distance and am no longer hitting it left, which was a big problem with the Kuro Kage.

what is the most comparable shat to the grafalloy Platnium

Asked by: Tony
This current Grafalloy Blue plays much stiffer then what the Platinum shaft did. In the current Grafalloy line the ProLaunch Blue 65 test data is the closest I see to the data from the Platinum. Another shaft that matches well to the Platinum is the Xcaliber 6.

Hi, is this shaft for drivers only? Or does it cone in the length for a 3 wood as well? Thanks.

Asked by: Robertgolf
This shaft can be installed into a 3 wood or other fairway woods by following the trimming instructions. For this shaft installed into a 3 wood you would cut 1/2" off the tip end of the shaft and then cut from the butt end of the shaft to the finished length for your 3 wood.

Can the Grafalloy 60 X-stiff fit a Taylormade R1 driver? ?If so, can you fit the adapter and have the shaft ready to play other than the grip? ?How much would that add to the cost of the shaft?

Asked by: dsb1984
The Grafalloy Blue 60 X is a .335" tip diameter shaft and the Taylor Made R1 used a .350" tip diameter shaft. You can install the Grafalloy shaft into a Taylor Made R1TP adaptor and then it can be installed into the R1 driver. The Adaptor is $28.99 (TM0019), the Grafalloy Blue 60 X shaft is $79.99 (TT0095) and the charge to install the shaft into the adaptor is $10.00 (INSTALLAD). Total is $118.98 plus shipping and handling.
