True Temper Dynamic Gold SL .355" Steel Iron Shaft is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performs like DG, but lighter I've been enjoying these in a set of TE forged irons and am very pleased with the performance. They are low launching like the Dynamic Gold shafts, but are 20 grams lighter! The shot dispersion is excellent, too. If you need a lighter shaft that is tip stiff, this is it!

I have a set of 2011 Adams Pro Black CB1 irons that came with the graphite shafts. According to your figment guide, they show this shaft to have a .370" parallel. The ProjectX std shaft is .355" taper. Is the hosel diameter physically different?

Asked by: JPittman
Jim, I obviously know that there are 2 separate sized of shafts. I was asking if the heads were listed in the Golfworks OEM guide is correct. After removing the factory graphites( that are listed at .370") I found out the listing is wrong. The heads are definitely not .370". The factory tip measures close to .355 after abrasion. Now I'm stuck with returning shafts. Yay me. GOLFWORKS, fix your guide.?

I am looking for shafts with the same or similar characteristics to the discontinued Dynamic Gold Lite S300 with a .355 tapered tip. Do you have a recommendation? Thanks

Asked by: Mikee
The information we have in our data base on the Dynamic Gold Lite .355 tells us it had a mid bend point and firm tip stiffness and was 107 to 109 grams in weight. Based on that information the Dynamic Gold SL would be similar in weight, but has a high bend point with a firm tip stiffness.

whats the?diffidence in tip sizes ?

Asked by: mattepps
The different tip sizes are for matching up to hosel bore sizes with different irons. Some irons use a .355" taper tip shaft and others use a .370" parallel tip shaft. Which ones you would use depends on the irons you have. At this link you click on the different manufactures and see which shaft tip size is used in the different club models. http://www.golfworks.com/article.asp_Q_ai_E_376

what is the difference between the SL and the XP shafts? is the XP the 2014, and the SL the 2015?

Asked by: dwatt
The Dynamic Gold SL shaft was introduced in 2005 and is designed to play like a standard Dynamic Gold except it is much lighter. It is designed to produce a lower ball flight, again just like the Dynamic Gold. The XP 95 and 105 were introduced in 2014 and the XP 115 added this year. The XP 95 is lighter then the DG SL and will produce a higher ball flight then the SL. The XP 105 is similar in weight to the SL but again will produce a higher ball flight and the XP 115 is a heavier shaft then the SL but again will produce a higher ball flight then the SL.
