I would like to purchase a UST Mamiya Gold 65 shaft with a Ping G30 driver adapter installed. ?I would like the club to play at 45.45". ?Do you provide that type of service? ?Sorry, I forgot to indicate an Regular Flex shaft.

Asked by: Jeff49
Yes we do provide this service. You would place your order for the shaft and adaptor and at Checkout in the Special Notes box you would put a note that you would like the adaptor installed for a G30 driver. Please tell us which setting on the adaptor you would like the shaft installed to. Tell us the finished length you would like. There is a charge of $10.00 for installing the adaptor.

I want to reshaft my TM RBZ 3-wood. I am 67, 5'8" and have a swing speed of about 80mph. It currently has an S flex, which I just don't seem to control. Suggestions? I'm a 13 hdcp, so the lower the price, the better.

Asked by: MorganO
There are not many fairway specific shaft designs to choose from. Most wood shafts can be trimmed for fairway. We have had a lot of success with the Xcaliber Fairway shaft code # AS0021. It comes in an A, R, S flex and is 75 grams. Based on your swing speed, the R flex could be a good choice. It is $29.99, which is a very good price. Another option in the same brand is the Xcaliber Tour SL, which is ultralight (56 grams in the R flex). If you are looking to maximize distance, the ultralight weight of the SL may be the way to go.

I am 62 years old, hit a seven iron 150 yds, my three wood about 210 yds and a driver 230+ yds. Which of these Mamiya shafts should I buy to reshaft my Cleveland Golf driver head?

Asked by: tomtutor
Based on the information you have given, either the 55 Gold or the 65 Gold in the R flex. The lighter weight could allow for a slight increase in clubhead speed. The Gold Series is designed to optimize launch. If you already hit the ball high and want to bring down the trajectory a little, you might look at the MP5 or MP6 in the R flex, or the V2 55 in the R flex. The V2 R will feel a little stiffer than the other R flexes.
