Love my Callaway Razr XF irons but not the Senior flex shafts on them. Plan to resft them in a Regular flex graphite. What would you recommend in the mid price range?

Asked by: artspang
I would recommend the XCaliber iron shafts or the Kuro Kage Black iron shafts. These are our two best selling mid priced graphite iron shafts. We get excellent feedback from both shaft models as well. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_AS0023 http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=MR0033

I'm thinking of replacing the existing shafts in my Taylormade Burner 2.0 irons. I need a senior flex. What do you recommend? Thanks

Without knowing more about your ball flight details, I would suggest that you fill our our Shaft MPF work sheet. It can be found at the bottom of the first page here: http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/ShaftMPF.pdf This will provide you with an MPF number that you can reference to select a shaft. If you still have some questions please call our customer service at 800 848-8358 and they will help you further.

what do you recommend in a 355 taper tip iron shaft in graphite? ?looking at a set of mizuno irons forged and do not like steel, no nothing about fiber steel, have never hit any. ?10 handicap and don't want to spend 400.00 on 7 shafts. Reg shaft

The Xcaliber .355 taper tip iron (set of 7 shafts - $139.99) are definitley the best price option, and we have had really good feedback on this product. All other otions that I can find will be $39.99ea (Rip Tour iron by Aldila) and up. The Aerotech is a highly rated shaft with Tour usage, as is the Recoil by UST, but both will be in the $45.00 ea range or above.

Looking for graphic shaft for X-20 5 iron Callaway

Asked by: Knah
The Callaway graphite iron shaft in the X 20 irons from 2006 was a proprietary Callaway branded shaft. The shaft weight was 71 to 80 grams, depending on the flex, and came in Lite, R and S flex. We identified the MPF (Maltby Playability Factor) rating for the shafts as being 2D3S for the Lite flex, 3B3M for the R flex and 4B2M for the S flex. These codes can help identify similar playability shafts in The Golfworks catalog or on the webiste. The original shaft that was in the X20 irons is not available.
