MALTBY M-SERIES BLACK ION PLATED WEDGE HEADS

Expert golfers know that a great set of wedges are a must when it comes to making those key recovery shots that spell the difference between a good round and a great round. M-Series forged wedges are designed for just such an occasion — for top players and for the rest of us.

Maltby M-Series wedges are form forged from 8620 carbon steel, black ION plated and designed with a traditional topline and radiused leading edge that make them extremely playable from any lie. The sole of the Maltby M-Series forged wedge is tour ground with a blended leading edge and trailing edge, along with a rolled heel. All features that are preferred by better players and benefit all players. The M-Series Wedges also have semi square leading edges and a smooth, gradual hosel transition, giving them a truly classic wedge look. These wedges are also the first wedge series in the Maltby line to offer the USGA conforming Maltby M-grooves, a hybrid groove design that combines the best of box grooves and V-grooves.

Soft carbon steel feel, classic wedge styling, “M” groove performance. Add them all up and you’ve got a wedge series that all golfers will appreciate, especially when the heat is on!

Rich durable ION Black rust finish reduces glare.

m-series black ion wedge

Have used all the leading wedges.Bought the 58* black ion wedge with Rifle Spinner shaft and found it be be better than the Cleveland CG12 and any Vokey wedge.Lots of spin and now the favorite club in the bag.

Best wedge I've ever used bar none!

I've been building clubs for 17 years and during that time I've tried a lot of wedges. Three years ago I bought a 50 and 56 degree Cleveland CG10 for my own bag because I hadn't found any thing I liked in the component market. Wasn't entirely happy with the Clevelands either. This summer I built a Maltby 56 degree and couldn't believe I'd finally found my sand wedge! Look, feel and playability are great! So good I built the 50 degree with equally satisfying results. Both are shafted with FTS Pro115 stiff shafts and I couldn't be happier. Needless to say they've replaced the Clevelands in my bag. My only hope is that Maltby will expand this line! I'd like to see a 45/46 and 52 degree.
