What grip would you recommend for a Woods-55 R flex shaft (butt diameter of 0.615) that would result in a standard size grip?

Asked by: JamesB
There are no grips manufactured with a .615" core size that by simply installing them would give you a standard grip size. We do stock a Taylor Made Burner Superfast grip that has a .620" core size that if installed on a .615" butt diameter shaft would be .005" undersize. The other option in this case for creating a standard size grip is to install a .600" core size grip that you can stretch 3/4" when installed. Stretching the grip 3/4" will make it .015" smaller or in this case take it back to standard size.

Do you install the adapters, i.e. G30 driver?

Asked by: dwburky
Yes we will install the adaptor for a G30 driver. It is $10.00 to install the adaptor plus the cost of the shaft.

I found a broken Callaway 7 wood today, playing golf. I have removed the shaft, but all the hybrid shafts I see have a 370 tip. I had and old r7 shaft with a 350 tip, would not fit. Any suggestions, Paul.

Asked by: Parks
The .350 tip could work, but you would probably need to use a shim. The shim that should work would be the SHIMT.

Looking to replace taylormade burner superfast 2.0 driver shaft

Asked by: hawk22
The stock shaft in the Taylor Made Burner Superfast 2.0 was a Matrix Xcon 4.8 graphite shaft. It was in the mid 40 grams and had a .350" tip diameter. The Aldila NVS is available in a .350" tip diameter in the 65 model. (AL0001W) http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=AL202202 You could use a .335" tip diameter shaft along with the BB9008 adaptor for installing the .335" shaft into the .350" hosel bore. A shaft like the Xcaliber Tour SL could also be a good replacement. (AS0026) http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_AS0026

I am trying to replace a ping 700 D shaft Stiff. ?What would you recommend?

Asked by: Jim S
There are dozens of options that could work. The choices could be narrowed if we knew the trajectory you preferred. Assuming a mid trajectory, and based on the weight range of 55-65 grams, which is what the 700 D was, you could try the Graphite Design YS6+ or the Kuro Kage Black 2nd Gen in either the 57 gram or the 67 gram option.
