Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not all Arthritic Grips are the Same... For those customers that need an arthritic grip, this a great choice. The barrel of the grip, is slightly larger, in the right areas for challenged hands. Other brands I have installed, tend to be slightly thinner, in my experience, and require buildup to get the right fit. the Lamkin, usually, requires standard installation only. My first choice, now, is Lamkins for my special req. players.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great For Anyone I put them on all my clubs 15 years ago and have never replaced them. They give better traction than any other grip including corded, leather rubber or synthetic grips whoose grip come from little shallow indents. Lamkin Arthritic Grips have rough, outward pips that never get slick. The pips grip so well that I don't even need a glove (which in turn provides more feel).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much Better This grip is a godsend. I have big hands with arthritis badly in the knuckles of 3 fingers. This grip let me loosen the pressure and get away from using a baseball grip. I played 18 holes the other day and had absolutely no pain when I finished. It was just what I had hoped for.

What does the fraction stand for in the size of the grip 1/16 or 3/32 or 3/64?

Asked by: Sneakers
The fractions let you know what the finished grip size will be when installed onto a shaft with the same core size as the grip. The industry standard installed grip size for men is .900". Basically, every additional +1/64" in size increase equals .015" in size. So a +1/64 oversize will result in a grip being .915" in diameter. A +3/64 increase in grip in size will result in a finished grip size .945". You can click here to view all of the standard golf grip sizes and how to obtain them using build up tape : Manufactures now make pre-sized oversized grips so that you do not have to manually build them up with grip tape to achieve your desired finished grip size.
