Arthur Xtreme Engineering Xcaliber Graphite Hybrid Shaft Specifications

AXE XCaliber Hybrid Graphite Shaft is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from X C Newest best cucumber Just purchased two hybrid shafts. Replaced the so called upper end shafts. I guess they should be called my ex-shafts. These new shafts are great. I will not mention the name brand but I payed 180.00 for the old shaft and it was not even close.

What is the stiffness/launch characteristics of this shaft in regular flex? I'm looking for a hybrid shaft that I can load with a mid-high launch. I have the Adams pro hybrid heads 2014 in 20/23 degrees loft.

Asked by: hamer
Xcaliber lists the launch characteristic of the AS0022 Xcaliber Hybrid shaft as a Mid/High launch. Based on the tip stiffness and overall shaft profile, we would classify this shaft as medium tip stiffness Regular flex. Obviously, without knowing exactly how you swing or load the shaft, we could not definitively tell you you will get a mid/high launch, but the profile of the shaft is designed for the launch characteristics you are desiring.

I would like to order a couple of these shafts for Ping G15 hybrids but I don't see .355 tapered shafts as an option. Are these available? Thank You.

Asked by: Rod1
We do not stock the Xcaliber Hybrid shafts in a .355" taper tip and no they are not available We really do not stock any Hybrid shaft in a .355" taper tip. With UST we could special order any of their .370" Hybrid shafts in a .355" taper tip. You would need to contact Customer Service with this order.

For a hybrid head the weighs 254 gms and 25 degree loft what would be the tip trimming for this shaft at regular flex?

Asked by: slackor
From the R flex XCaliber Hybrid shaft you would need to trim 1 1/2" from the tip for a 25 degree hybrid.

I'm looking for a replacement shaft for an XXIO U3 19 degree hybrid . The stock club length is 40.5 inches, and mine was an SR flex. I prefer a low torque, stiff shaft so would the XCaliber be a possible replacement? Or can you recommend one?
