Xcaliber Shaft Specifications

AXE XCaliber Tour SL Graphite Wood Shaft is rated 4.5455 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value. I have been searching for a shaft to put into my rbz driver head which performs better for me than the xcon7 shaft I had in it. I have tried tour ad di 6s, 7s, 6x, tour ad bb 6s, diamana Bluebeard motore speeder your spec shafts. Then I decided to try some of the lightweight shafts, and I have had some success with the old xcaliber tour sl shafts in fairway so wanted to give this a shot. It performs better than all those premium shafts that I now have to sell. It feels very stable, not whippy for a lightweight shaft. Direction control is amazing more point and shoot than my other shafts. And the lower weight helps me get it out there longer. I also have the match in fist way and hybrid shafts. A great purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from gets it out there, but might not be for me driver ss hovers around 100. 11 handicap. low spin, low launch player who needs more spin and higher launch. this shaft was recommended after some great interaction with robin arthur. dude is first class! i like the way the shaft feels in my hands, and it looks great in an adams xtd ti 15* set to +1*. the shaft launches low, even in a 3w. try as i might, i just can't get it to kick enough at impact. distance-wise, it's great, as long as my typical drive. but i can't get it to carry even 200y, although it roll out another 30-40y. i also can't get it to turn over, so fades are easy but draws are just blocks. at the price, it's a great shaft, but i think these shafts are designed for stronger players with aggressive loads, and i don't fit that profile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best choice for me Put this into my R1 and was going to sell the club if this didn't work. TP shaft wasn't working for me at all. Ball now has great launch and carry with no light feel I thought it would have. Amazing that I could feel this shaft truly unload and spank the ball out there! Highly recommend this shaft!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome feel . After owning several Xcaliber shafts and being completely satisfied I finaly fitted my SLDR driver and Fairway woods with the Tour SL . I wished I would have done it earlier . Great feel , control , tight dispersion and great distance . You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars for a great shaft .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mated with R1 driver I replaced the Aldila factory shaft with the Excaliber SL regular flex shaft on my Taylormade R1 driver. I am getting a more consistent ball flight and about 10 extra yards. This shaft and the R1 head work well together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long hit I purchased the sl for my driver head i had from the old days. Out drove the two new drivers i have today by 20 yards on a bad hit. This is the best shaft i have hit in a long time. Folks give it a try.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broken Shaft Reshafted a Cobra Bio Cell driver with the Xcaliber Tour SL Regular shaft. Played 1 round with it and the shaft felt great. Was hitting the ball on a good trajectory and was able to move it right to left with ease. The Xcalaiber shaft provided much more feedback than the stock Project X regular shaft that came with the driver. I noticed at the end of the round that some paint had chipped off of the underside of the shaft about 1/4" above the ferrule. The next time out on the range, the shaft splintered at this same location on my first swing. I have a slow swing speed (rarely exceeds 85 mph) and have never broken a shaft before in the 40 years that I have been playing. I am sending the broken shaft back to GolfWorks to hopefully receive a refund. Meanwhile, I reshafted the driver with the new Graffalloy Blue Supercharged shaft. I have played 1 round and am satisfied with the new shaft; however, my first impression it that it provides less feedback (less feel) than the Xcaliber shaft. Despite the broken shaft, I am giving the Xcaliber shaft 2 stars because it felt great while it lasted!

Do u half to have an adjustable shaft for a sidr

Asked by: Canny boy
Taylor Made made an adjutable model SLDR driver and a no adjustable (SLDR - C). If you have the adjustable SLDR, you would need to get the SLDR adaptor installed on the new shaft you choose, or remove the adaptor on your current shaft and install it on your new shaft. If you have the SLDR-C, it is non adjustable and would not require the adaptor.

Do you post to Scotland ? If so how much ? I have a driver swing speed ?between ?95/98 mph so any advice on flex appreciated. ?My titliest 910 has a diamana ?kalia sflex 65 g shaft. I was looking at lighter shafts for an increase in swing speed. ?

I am considering buying your ke4 st-1 driver head and installing a xcaliber tour sl r flex shaft or the xcaliber 5 rt r flex shaft.. ?Would one be better than the other?. ?I believe my driver clubhead speed is around 95 mph. ?Thanks for your help.
