I have ping eye 2 irons so need.355 tapered tip how many come in set? How to trim for length, and how to order additional shafts if set not sufficient.

Asked by: bob isbell
There ar 7 shafts in the AS0028 set 36-39" in 1/2" increments. You can order the individual lengths under code AS0028. Since these are taper tip, you trim nothing from the tip. Simply install the shafts, then trim to your final playing length from the butt end.

Please reference: AXE XCaliber Taper Tip Graphite Iron Shaft Set Could I install these shafts in my Ping G10XG irons? I want to make sure there would be no issues or do I need to do something else?

Asked by: denniscz
The AXE taper tipped irons are pre tip trimmed. You only need to prep the shaft tip by lightly sanding off the paint and cut to finished length. They will fit into the Ping G10 irons.

are these shafts ready to put into my golf heads .

Asked by: seve
The taper tip shafts do not need to be tip trimmed, but do need to be tip prepped before installation (prepping is the process of removing the paint from the tip of the shaft, being careful not to sand the carbon fiber material). Once this is done, then the shafts can be installed. After installation and curing time, you must then cut the butt end of the shaft to your final playing length.

I am familiar w. the AXE Tour x 95 shaft. ?I play them in a R flex and they seem to me to play slightly firm to flex. ?I can often play either a R or S flex. ?How do these shafts play stiffness and launchwise compared to the Tour x 95 shaft please? ?thx
