Aerotech Claymore Graphite Wood Shaft Specifications

Aerotech Claymore Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight low launch shaft I was surprised by the tip stiffness in the F3 (regular) flex. I like the light weight, but had to increase the loft on my Titleist 913 D2 to handle the lower launch. It is not as smooth as my Fujikura Blur Red 005, but is a nice performer at an excellent price.

Can the Aerotech Claymore 48 F3-R Flex - 335 tip (48g) 3B2M be fit in to Ping G30 Driver 10.5. Also, should I get pureing, tip prepping and tip and butt trimming done on the shaft?

Asked by: mahmood
Yes the Aerotech Claymore 48 could be installed into the Ping G30. We certainly could pure the shaft and do the prep work so that all you have to do is install it. Puring is something we do recommend, however if you are someone who will be changing the shaft setting from time to time puring will not work.

What swing speed for 48g wood shaft?

Asked by: Jakes
Generally, slower swing speeds will benefit from Ultra lightweight shafts, like one that is 48 gr. That being said, ultralight shafts can be used by any any swing speed. What matters is matching the overall feel of the clubs weight and the shafts weight to what the player prefers.
