Shaft Butt Weight Ports
"A great tool for counterbalancing steel shafted woods, irons and putters. The durable plastic weight port fits into the butt end of a steel shaft and is secured after grip installation. 12 per package. Can be sanded to fit graphite shafts."

Works but time consuming
Reviewed By:

These work well but are time consuming to sand down for graphite shafts. I ended up taking down the corners with a knife and then fine tuning with an electric sander to round them out.
After sanding they weigh about 4 gms. Filled to the top it will hold 20 gms of lead powder.

Pain in the neck

Pain in the neck to work with. But, i found a trick. Heat the plastic until it is soft, then drive it into the shaft. Scrape off the excess plastic with a knife. Will save you tons of time and aggrevation.
