"The new CER 851 TG drivers are the latest in the development of high performance and playable designs in the CER line. These new drivers are designed to position the weight of the head not only for directional performance, but also trajectory and distance performance. The CER 851 TG is constructed of three different materials, 6-4 titanium in the sole, heel and hosel area, SP700 Beta Titanium in the face, and a composite toe and crown area. The composite material, being lighter than the titanium, allows more weight to be placed in the sole to improve trajectory. The sole design places slightly more weight in the heel area, giving a slight draw bias to the weight distribution. The CER 851 TG has no offset and a square face angle in the 9.5 degree loft model. The 10.5 degree model has .5 and 1 degree closed faces respectively, both of which help the player that has a tendency to slice. The 450 cc head size instills confidence at address and provides a high level of forgiveness on off center hits.
