MALTBY DESIGN® CENTER OF GRAVITY TOOL

Vertical and horizontal center of gravity points are key to the playability of club heads. This tool easily and precisely measures the center of gravity in the plane of the face, helping to assess the playability of different models. To use, simply balance the clubhead on the hollow brass point. When the head is balanced, slide the marking pen (supplied) into the tip and gently rotate. The mark can easily be removed from the face after testing. Complete instructions included.

Note: You can convert the Vertical Center of gravity measurement (VCOG) to Actual Vertical Center of Gravity, by accounting for the Rearward Center of Gravity and using trigonometry. However, for most use, the simple VCOG measurement will be all you need to make comparisons.
