KBS Tour V Steel Iron Shafts

The KBS TOUR V shaft is a slightly modified version of the the popular KBS Tour shafts. The KBS Tour V shafts are lighter than the original KBS Tour shafts and also feature a larger tube diameter to produce a mid level launch angle with lower spin for a significantly tighter shot dispersion.

  • Delivers a medium trajectory, low spinning golf shot with a smooth all-around feel
  • Maximizes energy transfer for smooth feel and faster ball speeds
  • Available in 3 flexes from 100grams to 120grams

KBS Tour V Shaft Specs

KBS Tour V Steel Iron Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb As an older person I have been down the blind alley of trying lighter weigh, softer flex shafts and have done a U turn, With the Tour V in X flex. What a great shaft, no boardy feel, in fact very smooth and consistent, ball goes where you aim. Shafts have a distinct spine on my aligner and recommend this be done for proper installation. I was huge fan of the Rifle shafts some years ago. Looks like Kim Braly has done it again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tour V Shafts Wow! I have used True Temper, ProjectX and now the KBS Tour V. These shafts feel incredible and have a nice mid ball flight. The distance is about the same as the other shafts but these feel much smoother. I would highly recommend trying these shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mr. I ordered the KBS Tour V in my Cobra Bio-Cell Plus irons and they are the best combination for feel, consistency, and distance that I have ever had. TM numbers don't lie!

I have a Titleist Volkey Spin Milled 54* wedge. The KBS label-red background-black KBS lettering. Lower half is a black section of label with smaller red lettering-Tour-by FST. First step is 4.5" above metal hosel. Any idea on flex???

Asked by: Bill Mo
From your description it sounds like you have a KBS Tour Chrome Wedge shaft installed into your wedge (GolfWorks code FS0034). All of the shaft bands that we provide with our KBS Tour Chrome shafts have the flex printed on them so I am a little confused as to why your band does not. It is possible that stock Titleist KBS wedge shafts are all simply S flexes and they remove the flex designation. They do this because the flex in a wedge shaft isn't all that critical if only moving down or up one flex. Since the Tour Chrome wedge shafts are available in an X, S and R flex if you chose an S flex as a replacement I don't think you would notice any significant difference in flex during normal play.

Do you know the fcm of those kbs tour v shafts? I would compare the stiffness with my px 5.5 shafts

Asked by: Andresfseg
Our frequency testing on the 39" raw shafts shows the PX 5.5 to have a butt frequency of 371 cycles. The KBS Tour V S flex, also 39", is 360 cycles and the KBS Tour X flex is 376 cycles. The KBS Tour V is noticeably softer in the tip then the PX 5.5.

do you have graphite taper tip shafts? FOR PING EYE2 WOMENS GOLF CLUBS

Asked by: lujack
We do not carry any .355" tip tapered graphite wood shafts in a ladies flex. We can enlarge the hosel bore of your iron heads to .370" which would allow you to choose from any ladies flex .370" shaft that we carry.
