Graphite Design Tour AD DI Graphite Wood Shaft Specifications

Graphite Design Tour AD DI Graphite Wood Shafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Graphite Design Tour AD DI I bought the DI 5 stiff and I am blown away. I have always loved GD shafts for the smooth feel but now I got the distance and trajectory I have always wanted. I really can't believe how hard this thing kicks even when swinging smoothly. Truly the best shaft I have ever had. I put it into a R9 supertri by the way. High ball flight without balooning and some roll too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DI is Awesome! I recently bought the DI-6 Sitff after seeing my buddy's improvement in his R9 Dirver with this shaft. All I can say is explosive! I gained 10-15 yds and it is on a rope straight. Great Shaft for sure.

I'm looking to purchase a Tour AD Di6 shaft for my R11 Taylormade driver. I think the shaft diameter is .350 and not .335. Please let me know if this is correct. Clarence

Asked by: penni
The Taylor Made R11 would be a .350" tip diameter shaft. You could reshaft with the .335" tip diameter shaft using an new Taylor Made adaptor for the R11 that accepts a .335" tip diameter shaft. The code for the adaptor is TM0016. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_TM0016

Playing Taylormade Aero Burner 16.5 3 wood. My golf swing is about 90-100 MPH with 3 wood. R15 Driver is White Tie Regular shaft that plays stiff. ?My RSi 2 irons have Ozik Programme 95 regular shafts Recommendation for my 3 Wood? And Rescue wood?

Asked by: Ronnie
The Graphite Design Tour AD DI has been a very good shaft and could work well with the Aero Burner 3 wood. Putting another White Tie R flex shaft in the 3 wood could also be an option. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=MT2077 The Taylor Made Aero Burner 3 wood uses a .350" tip diameter shaft so you will have to shim these .335" tip diameter shafts to fit the .350" hosel bore. You could use either of these 2 shims. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_SHIM http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=BB9018 For the Rescue a shaft like the Xcaliber Hybrid (AS0022) could work well. The Kuro Kage Black Hybrid is another good option especially if you are looking for a little lower ball flight. http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp?pn=MR0032

I want to buy DI6S with sleeb of Titlist 915 driver, 45.5 inch . how can I order it?

Asked by: satowaka
We currently do not offer an adaptor for the 915 driver. Titleist is the only company that will not offer their adaptors for sale individually. If you want to send your current shaft and adaptor in, we can assemble the new shaft into your existing adaptor at your specs. Please call customer service for more details 800 848-8358.

Is this the shaft that Lydia Ko uses on her Callaway driver?

Yes I am quite sure the Tour AD DI is the shaft she is using. It has been a popular shaft with many of the tour professionals, both men and women.

I received a tour ad di 7x. No work have been done on it so far. I want to play it in my 3 wood. Is there a difference between a driver shaft and a 3 wood shaft when they are both at full lenght. Im scared it will become to stiff after i cut it.?

Asked by: addi7x
According to the manufacturer, the trimming instructions call for a 1/2" tip trim to use the shaft for a #3 wood. Cutting a shaft like this for the #3 wood is done to make the shaft play true to flex with the heavier head (#3 wood head is heavier than the driver head) and at the shorter playing length. 1/2" should not make the 7X play too stiff in the #3 wood assuming the head is a normal #3 wood weight and you are going to play it within a normal range of length for a #3 wood.

would you by the same shaft for a three wood and a driver?

Asked by: scott r
Yes, you can use theTour AD DI shaft for the driver and the 3 wood. The driver requires 0 tip trim, for a 3 wood tip trim 1/2". After tip trimming, trim to final playing length from the butt end.
