Golf Pride CP2 Pro Grip is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Grip on the Planet (For Me). This grip is soft but sturdy ... well made. Unlike the Winn Grips that fall apart. I thought I would have Pure Grips on all my clubs till the day I die ... guess I was wrong. These are Golf Pride's greatest achievement to date. Just love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tacky Usually "tacky" means cheap or uncouth...but for these GP grips, tacky is great! I've played a couple rounds with these grips on my clubs. I didn't change a couple new OEM grips and those clubs were the only ones that slipped or slightly rotated during the swing. They are coming off and these GP grips are going on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Grips Ever This was my second purchase of these grips. I had re-gripped my set with different and cheaper grips only to see my scores increase and comfort level decrease. I cut off virtually new grips and put these on. I am now once again a happy camper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent feel! Love the feel and price of the CP2 Pro. Been using the GP multi-compound but got too pricey and was tearing up my gloves and hand. This new grip is the best grip I ever used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CPS Pro Grip Jumbo These got to be some of the best feeling grips I've ever had the reduced taper is good for someone with large hands, they just seem to fit better in my hands.

Do these grips come in smaller size than 600? I have Ping ZZ lite shafts, I think that is a 5/8 shaft. Please advise, Thanks, Paul.

    Asked by: Parks
The CP2 grips are only manufactured in a .600" core size. Ping ZZ Lite shafts have a .600" butt diameter.

    what is control core??

    Asked by: Doc45
The Control Core is an insert in the top of the grip that is part of the grip cap that adds torsional stability to the grip in that area. It appears to be approximately 3" long.

What is the difference between the two grips

    Asked by: Billyt
Basically, The CP2 Wrap is a "wrap" style, and the CP2Pro is not. The Pro also has a slightly firmer feel than the wrap.

My Callaway irons are either .610 or .620 at butt. It is almost impossible to get a .600 grip on the shafts. Gold Pride advised me that they make these grips but I cannot find them. Do you have them?

    Asked by: Larry S
I am not aware of a grip offering with a .610" or .620" core. A standard .600" rubber grip will install easily onto a larger .610" or .620" shaft but will be slightly oversized unless it is stretched. The CP2 grips are not a good option for oversized grips due to the plastic control core inside the grip. If you installed a grip such as a Tour Wrap or Tour Velvet you shouldn't have any problems.
