Graphite Shaft Extensions

The GolfWorks offers graphite extensions for standard or ultralite shafts. These 3" extensions are made of injection-molded graphite for strength and durability. Choose the extender that fits your shaft. Can be sanded to fit most graphite shafts.

I have a graphite design AD-DI55 shaft, which extension should I use? looking for 1 1/12" - 2" extension. Is the extension adhesive different than the adhesive for the shaft/head application? Thank you.

The USGE would be the best choice, but will need to be sanded down to fit. The GSE is too small. the extension material is made to be sanded to fit, if necessary. Note: We do not recommend extending clubs more than 1 1/2", especially drivers. No problem on putters, but swinging clubs 1 1/2" would be the max.

looking to extend some tour edge bazooka iron-woods not sure what the butt diameter for graphite

Asked by: charliepro
With graphite shafts it is always hard to say for sure. It could be a .600" butt diameter but the inside diameter measurement will vary depending on the weight of the shaft. The inside diameter will be smaller with heavier shafts and lighter with lighter weight shafts. If the shafts are in the low 70 gram weight range then the GSE http://www.golfworks.com/search.asp?ss=gse&x=0&y=0 should be the correct extension. If the shaft weight is in the low 60 gram weight range then the USGE should be the better choice. http://www.golfworks.com/search.asp?ss=usge&x=0&y=0

Will these fit a 600 butt graphite shaft?

Asked by: Mrgolf
The GSE should fit most graphite shafts. Because there are so many variations in the inside diameter of the butt on graphite shafts, it may require some sanding to make it fit. In some cases you may have to put a piece of tape around the GSE to increase the diameter for those shafts that have a larger inside diamter.
