Solid Piece of Equipment

This gauge is very solid and heavier than I expected. It's fairly easy to use, and gives measurements that are accurate enough for my home workshop. The markings are all clear and easy to read. If there is any negative it's the cheap metal ruler supplied with it...Adequate, but flimsy. Also, finding the lie angle requires precise placement of the clubface which isn't easy with the provided equipment. I used a 1x1x1" metal machinists' angle block (available from Micro-Mark) and attached it to the side of the protractor to make the process less guesswork by providing a known 90* upright angle. This visual aid makes finding the lie angle easier and (IMO) more accurate. Overall a good product for the money! I'm very pleased with this purchase!
