Lamkin R.E.L. 3GEN Golf Grip - Standard (Buy 6 Get 6 Free)
The exclusive 3GEN material joins forces with R.E.L.'s minimal surface pattern design, creating one of the most advanced grips on the market. 3GEN's advanced synthetic rubber compound reduces impact jolts without dulling shot feel -- producing a smooth, single-strike impact. The minimal surface pattern helps maximize surface area contact with the hands, providing enough pattern for comfort and a load of tackiness - thus reducing the tension necessary to maintain control through swing and impact. The undersize neon pink and neon purple R.E.L. 3GEN grips are made with an even softer and tackier 3GEN material, created exclusively for female golfers.
The 3GEN material features a vastly improved resistance to environmental aging and weathering factors. The material will not absorb any moisture and its tackiness is activated by toweling off the grip or using a light abrasive brush. It continually performs better if it's cleaned regularly. Simply brush it with a wet towel and not only will any dirt or grime be removed from the grip, but the material's incredible tackiness will come back.
- All the benefits of 3GEN material
- Surface pattern provides maximum grip surface area, allowing unparalleled tack and feel
- Pink/Purple R.E.L. 3GEN uses a softer 3GEN compound.

Another home run from Lamkin

The good... The new REL Gen from Lamkin is the epitome of todays modern grip. Building on the ever popular crossing pattern, Lamkins new grip is other softer and tackler than the classic original. The REL Gen has an excellent patern for easy installation and is great for use with todays adjustable drivers. I played the crossing order for years while I'm not playing as much as I like I am not experiencing durability issues. In my opinion it is the best grip at it, or any price point for that matter. There is a huge array of colors so you can coordinate until your heart is content. I have them in light blue, white, and my personal favorite grey. These grips react well to stretching as I play +3 wraps (4total) to give me an in between size as the midsized is just a bit out of comfortable reach. They are east to remove if needed to alter size or for a repair.
The bad... While I really like this grip, and am supremely happy with its longevity; the only thing keeping this grip from being 5/5 is the fact that they can get a little slick in precipitation, or even early morning play. For me that puts it at a 4.5/5 rating. They do easily tack back up with a dry towel wipe down and work excellent with or without a glove, and as well as rain/winter gloves.
I'm interested to try the new Iomic/Lamkin venture but these grips are fantastic and at under $5 a grip you are under $70 in gripping your whole set. Read More Reviews
