MALTBY KE4 FAIRWAY WOODS
The Maltby KE4 fairway woods feature a classic club head shape when viewed from the playing position, but have also been designed with plenty of high tech, performance enhancing characteristics. The consistent face heights of 1.375" throughout the set provide a very low and rearward center of gravity in the lower-lofted woods to promote a high, penetrating ball flight while the higher-lofted woods have face heights deep enough to prevent “pop ups” when playing from deep grass.

great design fairway head

I wanted a thinner lower profile head. This is I believe the lowest profile head Golfworks offers. I built the 3 and 5 woods with Grafalloy Prolite fairway wood shafts. The grips are Golf Pride DD2. This whole combination is perfect for me. I can hit these clubs from any lie. Tight lies are alot easier with these clubs. I also like the looks of the club and headcover. Very nice job Golfworks!

Excellent for fine tuning

I bought the 3 wood head and shafted it with a Proforce V2 hybrid 70g Reg and initially used the 14g weight because I wanted the shorter length. I found it very hard to control, hitting a mixture of fades, big high slices, and pulls - a real mixed bag. I experimented by taking the weight out completely and I suddenly had a club with which I couldn't miss! It has taught me that I can hit woods with a very low swingweight (or MOI) and it hasn't cost me a thing. I will now experiment with different weights until I find my perfect match and I am looking to get the driver and 5 wood also.

Power house!

I walked into a local Golf Galaxy with an old hyper steel SS 3 wood from cobra looking to trade it in. I ended up walking out with a 14* KE4 3 wood with a Prolaunch Red X-flex and couldn't be happier. This thing is an absolute rocket! Excellent off the tee on a tight par four. Not as easy to hit off the deck being 14 degrees especially on uneven fairways. But a good swing brings great results! With a full shoulder turn, weight onto my left side, aggresive but smooth tempo and BANG! It takes off like a rocket. Long and with a slight draw. Great club!
