MALTBY KE4 FAIRWAY WOOD HEADS

The Maltby KE4 fairway woods feature a classic head shape when viewed from the playing position, but have also been designed with plenty of high tech, performance enhancing characteristics. The consistent face heights of 1.375" throughout the set provide a very low and rearward center of gravity in the lower lofted woods to promote a high penetrating ball flight while the higher lofted woods have face heights deep enough to prevent “pop ups” when playing from deep grass.

  • “Screw-Within-a-Screw” weighting system allows head weight to be reduced by 8 grams or increased by 6 grams

great design fairway head

I wanted a thinner lower profile head. This is I believe the lowest profile head Golfworks offers. I built the 3 and 5 woods with Grafalloy Prolite fairway wood shafts. The grips are Golf Pride DD2. This whole combination is perfect for me. I can hit these clubs from any lie. Tight lies are alot easier with these clubs. I also like the looks of the club and headcover. Very nice job Golfworks!

I placed a 14* KE4 head w/4 grams of head weight to a True Temper Dynamic Gold Steel Shaft at 43 inches. I can hammer this baby long and strong, without the fear of heading out of bounds with my 290-340 yard EGO buster driver. I am actually contemplating getting a CT 250 12* head and putting it on the same shaft. Great product Golfworks!!!!
