MALTBY KE4 HYBRID WOOD HEADS

The main purpose of a hybrid is to replace those difficult to hit long irons or high lofted fairways with a club that is much easier to hit high and soft at a specific distance. The mass dimensional properties of a hybrid, coupled with their added shaft length, make it difficult to simply pick a hybrid by loft. The KE4’s “Screw-Within-A-Screw” weighting system allows the golfer numerous shaft length, weight or material options to attain the desired ball flight and distances.

  • Cast 17-4 Stainless Steel
  • “Screw-Within-A-Screw” weighting system allows head weight to be reduced by 8 grams or increased by 6 grams
  • Slight hosel offset for improved alignment
  • Available in 15°, 18°, 21° , 24° & 27° loft options
  • LH available in 18°, 21° , 24° loft options
  • FREE weight wrench
  • Recommended ferrule – 52PI

Perfect Hybrid that don't like the hybrids that are just as big as FW
Reviewed By: Nick (Grand Rapids, MI)
I was stuck between the Adams Pro hybrid and this one. After trying them both many times I was set on the KE4. The fact that I can build the club with exactly what I want is a big draw. I've got One now with the V2 and I love it. I'm still waiting to get the ok from the wife to build another one.

Solid club
Reviewed By: The Hammer (East Bay , California)
The KE4 is a little expensive, but well worth it. The weighting system allows for a lot of different shaft and swingweight options, and made it very easy for me to match the rest of my clubs (all steel shafted except the driver). Solid hits are easy from the fairway, sand and out of light rough. Off centered hits are short--maybe a bit shorter than my blades--but absolutely straight. To me, this is the strength of the club-less than perfect hits go very straight. I like the way the club sets-up. It is easy to aim and, for whatever reason, makes me feel confident over the ball. This club is a "keeper".

First Hole in One
Reviewed By: Marti  (Titusville, PA)
I have built about 10 of these hybrids for myself and friends over the summer. One of my friends had her first ace in 38 years of golfing with her new 27 degree KE4 Hybrid on a 135 yard par 3.
