MALTBY MTF TRUE FORGED IRON HEADS
MALTBY MTF TRUE FORGED IRON HEADSThe Maltby MTF True Forged irons are forged from a raw billet of 1035 carbon steel using an exhaustive 5 step forging process. This process shapes the smooth cavity design and distributes the weight properly without the need for additional machining. This special forging process gives the MTF irons a strong and dense grain structure. Better players will find the blade profile appearance to be very traditional and the feel to be exceptionally solid thanks to its Super Game Improvement rating (in the Maltby Playability Factor for irons). The Maltby MTF True Forged iron is one of the highest playability forged cavity back, blade profile irons available.

I am a club Ho. Tried alot of stuffs, M-45 too and just ok.. but This model simply works, ballflight, great bounce, good feel, forgiveness 13 hdcp and can play to single on a good day. Good price to. Don't change anything in this model perfect. - Monday, December 31, 2007Buttah! Reviewed By: Rick (Bartlesville, Oklahoma) Someone wrote a review on these sticks saying they felt like buttah!. Well guess what, they do. This is the first time I have ever assembled any heads together and wow was it fun. Then to go out and hit them and see them perform the way they did, who needs mp 57s? I've got these, for one quarter the price. Thank you golfworks.By the way I shot a 78 on a cold, windy, 45 degree day. Just wait till its 60 or above. - Monday, December 03, 2007the next step Reviewed By: jim (middleburg hts, ohio) was playing the mizuno mp-30's they were nice but felt the were lacking a little distance. at times felt the long irons tough to hit. but i did like the 6.0 rifle shafts alot. so when the heads wore out i was already playing the maltby ct-250 driver that was outstanding, i looked at the mtf iron heads bought a 6 iron head and put it on my 6.0 shaft and headed to range. the club was heavier and had a much heavier head weight which i really like because i lift on a regular basis. i can only say this, there was no looking back, this was the next step. fantastic... beautiful ball flight, distance, spin, mis-hits are 100 percent better than the mp-30's. i now have gap thru 5 iron that covers 105 to 190 yards of my game. true forged and feeling just like it.
