MALTBY MR. BIG 2 DRIVER HEAD
Mr. Big II uses the latest in materials and technology to produce a driver that looks great and breaks almost every rule the USGA has. The Mr. Big II is too big (505cc) and has too high a coefficient of restitution or CT rating (a measurement for determining the clubheads effect on ball speed). Mr. Big II also has a high moment of inertia (resistance to twisting). Besides the new shape and size, the new Mr. Big II has a sound “muffler” in the back skirt of the design. One of the problems when you design really large, thin walled drivers is the sound and this “muffler” makes Mr. Big II sound extremely solid and better than many drivers currently on the market. Bottom line - Mr. Big II is meant for distance. It is meant for those who want to enjoy this great game of golf, but need help in the distance category.
  • DAT 55 Titanium face produces higher ball speeds than allowed
  • 505 cc head size produces high moment of inertia for resistance to twisting on off-center hits
  • Great crown shape makes driver appear smaller than it’s actual volume
  • Plasma welding
  • Special “Muffler” cavity and insert dampen vibration and helps produce an extremely solid and powerful sound on impact
  • 1° hook face angle aids in correcting slice
  • 2.400" face height x 3.875"face width (center) present large striking area
  • Available in 10° and 13° loft options

I use the 13 degree version, my swing speed is ~80 MPH and 'when' I hit the sweet spot (as I'm a beginner)...well, it's a good thing someone spots my ball because it GOES!!! Looks great, sounds awesome and smacks the ball way out there...an excellent choice for someone who wants some great distance. It'll be me driver for life...give it a try, you won't regret it.
